Taaaaaaaaaachi....Taaaachi.To remain impartial she also says Tachi..momomom...Cant imagine how quickly our little one became 2 BIG:)
The way she says Sheeesus(for Jesus) must have really moved the heart of God. As a full time FATHER, she was very easy to bring up.Her Cbeebies friends really helped us.
IGLE PIGGLE,MAKAPAAKA,UPSYDAISY,TOMBLIBOOS....teletubbies all became a part of her small mind.

The way she responds to music is what is amazing. She hums Tittee titee.lile star..I caaaath aa my cares upon uuuuuu...She loves everyone who sings and if someone sings they will grab her attention.

Teddy bear teddy bear turn around,if you're happy and you know it,Diggg it,Can you do the kangaroo are her favorite actions songs.

She loves pancakes and chicken...Very adventerous in chasing a cat and trying to slide from a slope.When she is around,she changes the atmosphere.

Many a time HAVE PATIENCE..and I CAST ALL MY CARED ministered to both of us.

We are so thankful to God for our dear thyaathe kooku and pray for the anointing to rest on her.

Being a worship leader

I love worshipping God. When I hear a piano being played, my heart pounds.My eyes get popped out and look out for some opportunity to sing a song which I know will touch God's heart.
In Church Services a worship leader plays a major role in invoking God's presence. A person far away from Christ when He feels the presence of God as the worship songs are sung, commits to Jesus. Healings and deliverance takes place when a worship leader inspires the congregation to SING IT OUT and SPEAK IT OUT.

As worship leaders we should have a constant thirst and hunger for His presence.Only when we are drenched in His presence can we radiate His glory and power.
Many worship leaders have forgotten their call.They get busy in their wordly commitments and forget the House of God.

Sadly these days I have seen many worship leaders involved in "Self projection". They just take it as a SUNDAY SHOW OFF. They try their best to have a "different" beard and then a different COSTUME. Try almost aligning their style to a secular mode, Some tips to be what God has called you to be as a worship leader.

1.A worship leader is strongly planted and rooted in the Church He belongs
2.A worship leader raises up Musicians and leads his team first into worship.
3.A worship leader will have a "consistent" walk with God.
4.He doesnt envy others , but observes and implements best practices
5,He is not a "crowd pleaser" but a "Christ pleaser"
6.He is a quick learner and an active learner.He learns and tries writing new songs..
7. He sets the platform for God's word to be spoken in power
8. A worship leader should tap into the PASTOR's vision and should be the best person the PASTOR can trust in

I love leading worships,I love people experiencing His life changing presenceIf you are a worship leader, I pray that God's fresh anointing will fall on you and you will bless many with His presence.

Even after weeks of not being at her house,once she is back,she jumps with excitment.She runs around the rooms which she is familiar,jumps in the mattress, takes her small chair sits on it. The world might be very big and attractive outside, but nothing can substitute the joy my little one has once she is home.
We may have great pleasure in our education, career,houses and cars we own and wealth we earn, but there is nothing that can compare to the joy we get in His presence.You feel at home in His house,all our troubles will vanish.You feel His gentle presence wherever you turn.His embrace and His power all around.You run with joy and you will never trade this experience for anything else.

"Father we pray that we will love to be in your presence everyday and every moment of our life.Help us to just fall in love with your beauty and powerful presence.Bless us this day.In Jesus' name-Amen"

The 2 worlds!!

For a believer who puts his trust in Jesus , he is usually influenced by 2 worlds
1)The Natural world and 2)The Spiritual world.
The Natural world is his routine.Office,work and pressure. He lives in this everyday. Competition,office politics,deadlines,appraisals, Bank balance, family,budget,finance etc. He struggles to make a living and this world usually spans from Monday to Friday.

The Spiritual world is what the person sees and experiences in his church life.The doctrines that are taught, the atmosphere in the church and all shapes up this world.It is usually shaped in the 2 or less hours he is in the church.
He struggles to find the reason for existence and purpose of life.He sees Spiritual experiences that are mind boggling.Preachers pushing, people falling,demand for money in the form of seeds,wrong doctrines and what not , struggling soul is not eased but it gets more of a struggle.Am not in anyway against any of the above mentioned but this is what a normal person feels.

The biggest challenge is not to get imbalanced by the effect of these 2 worlds. A Man has to have a personal relationship with God. He cannot and should not ignore his spiritual self. It should not be at the mercy of the natural world or the spiritual world.It should be led and taught and fed by the precious Spirit inside.The preachers or the appraisers will not stand by you on the great day of Judgement.Our Church life should get you closer to God and our natural life should cause us to trust and lean on God.

GUIDELINES

1)Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and its righteousness. A righteous life is what God looks for important
2)Have a proper time of prayer and meditating His word
3)Examine every spiritual doctrine you see and come across.Dont be skeptical or judgemental.However, its very important not to leave the foundation of God's word.
4)Get involved in the vision of the local church you get into.May the work of God be strengthened through the combined efforts
5)Pray that God will maximise your potential in every way and increase your influence so that many will come to the knowledge of the savior.

Ashes-Fainting for God!!

Our commitment to a cause depends on the passion we have.For an average Christian his weekly commitment to God stops by attending a 2 hour service at church.Some find noble reasons to even skip a Sunday Service.The week days give him no room to even think about God's house and the divine purpose God has for them.The sons of Korah as they pondered and looked at the tabernacle, developed a longing for His presence.They were not satisfied with just a look, just a visit.Their passion for God increased as time went by.The thirst, their passion was for God and His presence and not for any riches, name or fame the world could offer.All other commitments in life were aligned to be committed to God and His presence.

"Precious Lord, how beautiful is your presence. It just amazes us today. Lord, help us to long for your presence and your glory.Life is short,as we worship you we commit our lives to serve you-In Jesus' name -Amen"

His Word and the old toolbox

"Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. "(Eph 6:17)

He was repairing the motor which suddenly stopped working in our place. He opened an old bag with his greasy hands. It had around 3 pockets and each pocket had his drivers,nails, nuts and everything required for his profession. He had always stuffs handy for his work in that old bag. It was his daily companion through the years and it was always sufficient for him. We have a toolbox in God's word. It is the best suited for any situation you face. You can find help anytime, anywhere in His word. Make sure to hide His word in your heart. All devil's tantrums will be ineffective and you wil be victorious.

7 fold blessing for my Life this new Year

She walked!!

1.2.3..first time.1..2..3..4..5 second time.!! Yes she walked .It is a milestone today as September 30th is the first time my baby walked alone.
In the cool of the day, God used to come for a stroll with Adam. He cherished walking with His creation. Sadly Eve, used the facility to walk to a forbidden place,therefore they were banished from EDEN, the place where God intended and created them to walk.
When we walk into forbidden places , our purpose of walk is thwarted.Lets walk with Him, walk into His presence.
Psalmist said"I was glad when they said unto me, let us go to the House of the Lord"

Yes lets make it a point to walk into His presence, with His people, with a passion!!

A blessing for you my baby as you walked today as your daddy"3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber"

First Year of Fatherhood

The house is silent. The girls of my life are in a bus now to Udamalpet with amma. Last year almost this time the expectancy and moments of anxiety equally were there. The Lord saw us through. we were just 2 and now we have this gift which is undescribable. She added joy and comfort to our lives. Tirzah-Baby you light our lives.
The day of birth,the blessings and support of all who love her were really cute. As a dad I cherish those.
The transition of Shebu from my wife to tia's mama was phenomenal. She gave it all..She didn't let anything come her way. She was really superb in handling tirzah, the family and the church.I couldn't ask God for any other best heart.

The Jan 2010 time when Tia became sick, those were agonizing moments,Praise God,Provision was there and she became well.

God's provision was there when we took crucial decisions and never did we lack His grace.

As a dad I could understand God's heart better and if at all I boast. I boast in the cross of the Lord Jesus.

Now as I write this, the bday is over and we were blessed by the immense love of family and friends. It was a great time in Udamalpet

Some stuffs I learnt was
1)The Lord is in control of His gifts
2)We need to retain His gifts by prayer
3)Cherish His gifts and keep thanking Him
4)Nothing is as powerful as worship that will keep us in His grace and power
5)Nothing is as comforting as a mother's presence for the child.
6)The best feeling for a dad is when the kid leans on the dad
7)Vows are powerful.
8)FAMILY IS THE UNIT GOD IS LOOKING TO BUILD YOU UPON..Its the base.Don't lose the family and gain everything

CREATE CREATIVE WORDS!!

There is something you create inside you that you use to create or to destroy!!
Yes, these are your WORDS. Words are created in the deepest of your heart. The Creator said "out of the abundance of heart, mouth speaks".

Taking time in creating stuffs ensure that its defect free and it becomes ultimately satisfiable to those who encounter those. Your words should have an element of PAUSE before it is unleashed.A MOMENT OF PAUSE like how the Lord Jesus stooped on the ground to write something before he said"LET HIM WHO HAS NO SIN TAKE THE FIRST SHOT".

Understanding this is very important"YOUR WORDS IS THE FUTURE YOU CREATE".

Words of gratitude,appreciation, encouragement always have a positive effect on your future. God has given you the power of speaking. Speak life into situations. May your words be seasoned with salt so that it brings out the best in people and not cut them off!!

Lessons From IPL

Indian Premier League has become the attraction of everyone. As the poorman tunes his TV to SetMAX the rich become still richer and the poor becomes still poorer.
What an irony!!
The IPL however is in news for the wrong reasons too. The growth of IPL was just tremendous. Money power, bollywood celebrities, cheerleaders and top cricketers were roped in and this grew leaps and bounds.
Some lessons which I learnt from this is

1.Things that grow fast will not stand too long!!!

2.Pride goes before a fall.

3.Honesty is the best policy

4.Do not take your position for granted, be responsible with the little and God will make you overseer of many. Dont go for overseeing many in the first instance, God will take what you have also.

5.An inheritence quickly gained at the beginning will not be blessed at the end

6.Riches do not endure forever and a crown is not secure for all generations.

One prayer as I write this is
Keep falsehood and lies away from me ;give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread(Pro 30:8)

APRIL- My Feeling!!

As 3 months of 2o10 has passed by, I have a feeling on this first day of April that this is going to be a month where your situations are going to change. I was wondering how the face of Hannah was before and after she poured out her heart. She was constantly nagged by her adversary. Feelings of insufficiency, weakness, inferiority complex and what not , she was a victim of all this. If you are in that place , dont worry Hannah was there centuries before just as you are now, but she did not continue to be in that realm. Hallelujah...
The Bible records that after she prayed ,her face no longer became sad. Now what happened was remarkable. All her feelings and complexes were replaced by the power of God as she prayed.

During prayer we should feel God's power intervening in that issue we are praying for. Intense times of prayers will definitely result in answers which you can perceive instantly.
A woman with the issue of blood touched the garment of Jesus and the Lord FELT power flowing from His body. Wow...So let me make this short...During times of intimacy with God prayer or worship,we should feel power flowing into our lives and God in heavens will feel that someone on earth has tapped His power. Will that someone be you??
Well I sincerely wish that you will be one along with me as we together experience the goodness of God.

THE FIRE AND THE COMBUSTIBLE MATERIAL

Fire needs a combustible material to spread on. If there are elements that are not combustible, it will prevent fire from going through.
Let me put this clear...For the Holy Spirit fire to catch and grip you, you need to have a combustible material in your heart and that's nothing but the word of God.
The Holy Spirit cannot and will not take control without your heart having the word of God.
I have wondered why are the Christians still holding on to this World and not giving time to His word. If at all we miss out on a day to day basis is to read and meditate His word. By meditation I mean allowing the work of the Holy Spirit on the word.
DO you have the fire..is your passion still hot for God..Is your heart filled with His word...

If so, expect the Holy Ghost to set you on fire and enable you to be His ambassador in this world.

FOLLOW ME vs FEED MY SHEEP

From the blog title you will understand that these are 2 statements our Lord Jesus told to Peter.
The first one is FOLLOW ME, which was a sort of command. MORTAL MAN cannot do anything rather than obey the divine VOICE. Peter along with all other disciples obeyed that voice, they left all that they had and followed Jesus.They however, had no transformation from inside,if the Lord left them ,they would have easily gone back.This was evident after the crucifixtion of Jesus ,these disciples under the leadership of Peter went back to the seas.

They were then met by the resurrected Lord who prepared a good GALILEAN BREAKFAST for them , without using the fish they caught. God doesnt need your resources to do His work, He looks at you. The Lord then dealt with them perhaps the most intimately. He asked a question to Peter.."DO you love me more than these"...Peter at first just gave an answer without his heart involvment, the Lord then repeated the question which almost pierced the heart of Peter.The Lord then told him to FEED HIS LAMBS...

FOllow me was non transformational but FEED MY LAMBS was.!!Follow me signifies the sovereignity of God and fraility of man, FEED MY LAMBS signify the change that real LOVE can make.

Peeple of God who are involved in the ministry in any ways, please make it a point that you minister to God , with your heart moved out of LOVE for the master.When Love is not there, you can't feed His lambs...!!Love God with all your heart and minister.

OCT-From Congestion to Expansion

In 2 Kings 6 we read the prophets facing a problem of congestion and they realized the need for an expansion.. Many a time we also struggle in congestion. We get our minds blocked, our thoughts congest us, we live in limitations and weaknesses. To get rid of Congestion we need to 1)INTROSPECTION OF OUR SELVESThese prophets examined themselves, the found out that they needed an expansion.They saw where they were.We also need to have daily examination. We need to take time to judge ourselves. Psamist says in Ps 139..Search me O God and try me, see if there is anything wicked in me.
2)COMPULSION FOR HIS PRESENCEThey introspected themselves and they did not stay there.They came to the man of God. This signifies the importance of telling our problems to God in prayer.We need to be very convinced on what we need and we have to take it to the Lord in prayer.They brought their request to the man of God.Men of God in your life signifies God's presence.HThe man of God agreed to their request,but they did not stop there. They requested the Man of God to go with them.The Presence of God should be requested by us.Only if we request will His presence be manifested in our lives,jobs,families and churches.Ex 33:15-16 says how Moses persuaded God for His presence.Ps 51:11.David cries.Cast me not away from your presence o God.
3)PROGRESSION BY HIS PROMISES(v4)They went to Jordan and started cutting the trees one by one.The trees signifies the problems and challenges we face.As we cut down these trees by His word and His promises our problems become the building blocks of our life.We can only progress if we cut down these obstacles by the shard edge of His word.When you face the tree of financial difficulty cut it down by Phil 4:19..My God shall supply all my need.Wehn you encounter the tree of diseases strike it down by Is 53:5.By His stripes am healed.When you feel you cannot do it and feeling to give up , cut that tree by Phil 4:10.I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.If you dont have the word you cannot progress.
4)RESTORATION BY HIS CROSS(v5-7)As the prophets were cutting the trees and gathering logs, one of the prophet's axe head fell in the river jordan.He cried out to the man of God Elisha. He was more worried as it was a borrowed one also.Elisha asked the prophet to show the place where it fell.He then cut a log and threw it to the place where it fell and the iron axe began to float.This is what the SPirit reminded me, all of us have been entrusted with CUTTING EDGE potential. You have a uniqueness that is given by God that is strong enough to cut mighty tree like problems.Over the years you used that extensively,as you started cutting, that iron axe is no more there. In this journey of life we have hidden that cutting edge potential. Without that you are nothing.God's giftings and potential in you has to be triggered by the Spirit and once its lost,only way you can restore is through the CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST.COme to the cross and show God the place and the situation in which the iron axe fell..That prayer life was lost,the smile in your face disappeared,that gutsy faith you had vanished.Take the presence of God to that bitterness.It may be an abuse,a failed relationship, a financial difficulty that caused that CUTTING EDGE Potential to vanish into river Jordan.Child of God take Him there,restore that great potential through the cross of Jesus Christ.

WATER WALKER-Sep09

Leaders rise and fall..one generation comes and another goes.As we are left with countable days in our life span, we need to understand our purpose and run the race with perseverance.
The Lord impressed upon my heart to be a water walker.Many a time we feel drowning under the problems of life,reeling under its stress.Waters with the stormy surrounding as we see in Matthew 14.
Family breakup,financial struggles,diseases and pain..curses.envy..problems with one another,we face a lot of waters and we need to be a water walker this month and so forth.
If you need to be a water walker, you will have to have
1)His Voice to be your choice
We hear a lot of sound in a stormy sea,the sound of the wind,waves and the boat being tossed up and down.In midst of that Like How Peter heard the sound of Jesus COME...We need to hear the sound of the almighty God asking you to walk upon the waters that trouble us.Ony His word can keep us from drwoning as His word will not sink...When we walk on the word of God,we walk on the waters.Hallelujah..
Read Ps 29,Is 30:22..His voice should determine and govern each and every decision of our life.

2)Our sight should be right-ONLY LOOKING TO JESUS
we read in the scripture that WHEN PETER SAW the winds,as he was walking on the waters,But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" The first indication of our sight problem happens when we encounter Fear.Fear is the most common visitor to every human being and God wants us to get over all our fear,When we fear,we get weighed down and we start to sink....The Bible makes it very clear that when we look to Jesus and Him only, He is the author and finisher of our Faith..the journey of faith..amen..
Lets focus on Him..take some time to gaze upon His loveliness...Let not our focus be lost...Only He can cause us to walk on waters

3)His Hand should cause you to stand
The hand of God is what gives us the stability in life.We cannot make it on our own, all the wealth we gain,the glory we attain,the honor we have is all vanity and in a seconds time all hopes can be lost.When we are in such situations, we need a hand to cling on and walk.We need the support of our God who loves us.As mentioned in my earlier posts,the hand of God refers also to the precious Holy Spirit.God has not left us as orphans,as we open up our lives and enter into a partnership and relationship with the Holy Spirit, we stand and we will not fall...His gentleness and comfort,His strength and power and guidance will cause us to walk upon waters.
Be a water walker....in an age that is facing moral decline and in a sodomic society.,..walk on the waters and glorify God.

Father I pray for thy precious people who read thy word.Help them to make the difference,let them walk on waters.In a stormy atmosphere as we look to thy face,breathe in us and fill us with thy Holy Spirit so that we will be a blessing, a water walker.
Father please help us to concentrate and seek thy face and continue our journey by looking unto your glorious blessed face.
Protect us O Lord,provide all our needs as we rely on you.You are a faithful God.If any one is sick,may your word rush into their system and make them whole by the power of your name.Give us a fruitful month ahead.
This we pray and ask in Jesus's mighty name
Amen.

THe doctor who took ULTRA SOUND for shebu in her fifth month i guess said"the Baby looks like sheba"...I also felt so..Was this a hint!!!!:)
I was introduced to TIRZAH by Shebu as we were searching for a name for the new entry to be joining our family very shortly. The name gave a good feeling in my SPirit.Within hours of this Rev Billy Graham asked me to study on the DAUGHTERS of ZELOPHEHAD from Numbers 27 and Joshua 17.I immediately turned my Bible to the portion mentioned and my eyeballs popped out seeing TIRZAH.The Lord was almost making it double sure:)..As days passed by the time was nearing for the baby to come out.We were still having the THOMAS ATTITUDE that unless we see the baby we wont believe what people say about the gender of the baby.When people said IT WAS GONNA BE A GIRL from their viewpoint we were having smiles..a deeper peace.When some of the others said it was gonna be a boy,we almost cried..dont know why..then we took some mental preparation to accept a BOY.NOw "mental preparation" was needed because we were uncertain of what the Lord will give us.
Searched through the net and the Bible for whatever Baby boy names and we never reached a compromise.One week before the scheduled delivery date God gave me a thought from Joshua 17 and asked me to tell His church that ITS TIME FOR AN EXPANSION.I spoke about the daughters of ZELOPHEHAD in the church.and what a blessed time that was.
On 11th July i thought to go to OM BOOKS to get some books for the library and proceeded to Forum.Now life without shebu around was not so convenient ...the food department was severly hit..haha...but then had to pass through this phase.My wonderful church members made sure to entertain me with their hospitality whenever they had time.As I was in Forum,after check up with the doctor Sheba said,that in next 48 hours the fluid level needed for the child would be over.Not knowing what was happening I asked" so when is the baby going to come out"?.AMma took over the phone and said that "ANY TIME FROM NOW THE BABY CAN BE OUT-SO DOCTOR HAS ASKED YOU TO COME OVER".I had the excitement of my life..also knew very well that shebu had to go through one of the toughest times of her life...Prayed and passed through the escaltors of Forum and wnet to ABTX Travels and booked my ticket for the night.I sincerely prayed that if the baby comes before I reach..I needn't see the pain my wife goes through.Submitted every thing to the hands of the Lord and made sure that all doors were locked and with a smile on my face I closed the door of my house I said "LORD WHEN I COME BACK I WILL BE A DAD,PLEASE GIVE US THE GRACE AND BE THE EVER PRESENT HELP TO SHEBA".
Sunday morning 12th I slept off a bit and reached POLLACHI the last stop of ABTX travels not knowing that UDUMALPET passed by without my knowledge.I said to the Lord"THIS IS INTERESTING.."haha..Reached the house and saw Shebu,we attended the service as usual.APPA and AMMA were telling that they think the baby was going to come out that day.I had my heart in my mouth..O GOD I DONT KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN,I GIVE SHEBA N THE CHILD Again in your hands.We sang for offeratory in the morning service "HOW SWEET TO HOLD A NEW BORN BABY"..By faith we were singing.Sheba as usual was on the keys with her big stomach..SHe was holding it in her womb...we sang and gave God glory.EVening nothing happened so I had to take over.. the English service.The Holy Spirit inspired me to teach the congregation some songs which expresses the need and importance of the Holy Spirit.I taught them to maintain a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit and spoke again on Joshua 17 of which one character is Tirzah.I ended the service by singing"HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD"with sheba again on the keyboard.
13th I woke up sensing a huge responsibility.We took her to hospital and doctor said the position of the child was not right and that sheba was having high blood pressure.We were quite anxious and they gave a medication that would help in inducing pain and the effect will be evident if no complications in 6hrs time.Time passed by but shebu had no signs of pain,but 2:15 the pains started and Praise God by 3:44 Tirzah was out into the world.I was there to welcome her and it was such a beautiful feeling...words of praise and thanksgiving filled my heart
Tirzah is His gift and she delights us with her pleasantness.
as she starts this whole new journey..our blessings as parents are with her.Tirzah touch the next generation for Jesus..

August 09-The Time for the Holy Spirit

As I was asking God on what to write this month.He asked me to write what i spoke in the church last week.He desires that we have a personal relationship with Him.In this dispensation of grace He has given us His Holy Spirit.God sincerely desires that we get into a partnership with the Holy SpiritIt is He who takes what is from God and blesses us with.He helps us in our infirmities.He aids us and helps us.Through out all generations He has poured out His Spirit and in such a time as this He desires that we commune with the precious Spirit of God.This can turn around your situation.This can bless your heart and give a turn around to your ministry and your total perception about God.The Lord reminded me to share 3 IMPACTS of the Holy SPirit in your life
1)THE CREATIVE ACT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The beginning verses of the Bible says that" and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. "The next verse says and then God said “LET THERE BE LIGHT” and there was light.Wherever God has done something , there is an initial hovering of the precious Spirit of God. The Spirit of God initiates the work. Though the earth was void and formless, God didn’t leave the earth as it is, He did something new and beautiful. Am talking to someone who thinks all is lost and empty,I have news for you, the Holy Spirit will hover on you and God will do some creative work in your life.Mary was amazed at what the angel of the Lord spoke to her. She asked “How can this be’,the angel said..THE HOLYSPIRIT will come upon you, the power of the Most High will overshadow you…DO you need the hand of God in doing / creating something new, allow the Holy Spirit to take control of that area or issue of your life.
2)THE CLEANSING ACT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is termed as HOLY Spirit. He is the part of the Trinity. We read that God is a Spirit. The Spirit of God plays also a cleansing or sanctifying role. We read in Mark 7:21-23” What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.' 21For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.' " He wants us to be Holy..Holiness is the act of being cleansed and set apart.When the Holy Spirit comes in our UNCLEAN bodies..He cleanses us by the blood of Jesus. He does the cleansing..and He dwells inside us. Thereby we become HOLY MEN nad Holy Women of God. In this context it will be wonderful to see 2 scriptures what Holy men and Holy women need to do 1peter 33Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. 4Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. 5For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. I tim 1:I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— 2for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3This is good, and pleases God our SaviorI want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit and we are His(1 cor 3)Lets live Holy lives
3)The comforting act of the Holy Spirit Have you known that there is a place in your life where even you cant reach. We become depressed,frightful, disappointed and we lose a lot of time worrying.Knowing this the Lord Jesus asked His disciples to wait for the precious Holy Spirit .He referred to the Holy Spirit as COMFORTER.No matter what your struggles are…He is there to comfort you, like how a mother comforts her child.Allow Him inside your heart, commune with Him in the stillness of our soul and let me tell you-Everlasting comfort will be your portion.Do you need the creative, cleansing, comforting act of the Spirit. If you are one of those..take some time off.get to your room, on your knees ask God the Father to fill you with His Spirit. He will give liberally to who all ask /request Him.. My prayer for you with all sincerity isBE YE FILLED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT in the Precious name of Jesus Christ… Have a beautiful month ahead

Precious people of God,When the world is reeling under severe economic crisis and people dont know what is going to happen on the earth,as unpredictability becomes the key word and uncertainity looms,its time as people of God to look unto the hills to have a knowledge of who our helper is and where does our help come from.The Lord brought to my attention to Joshua 17 and i got a ray of Hope through His word.Relying on the Holy Spirit so that the same will happen to you.In Joshua 17 we read of 4 methods to experience expansion
1)EXPLORE AND EXPOUND THE WORD OF GOD...(17:4)
The daughters of Zelophehad had no inheritence as their father had no sons.Though the law didnt mention anything about their case,they took their case to Moses in Numbers 27:1-4.Moses takes the case to God and God stands for these women who understood the need of an expansion and of an inheritence.But in Numbers 36,we read a condition attached to this law.The condition was that they were not supposed to marry from another tribe because the inheritence was given to a tribe.What a beautiful reminder that we as God's children are having inheritence to all blessings,but when we go our ways,we lose our inheritence.Esau sold His birthright for a meal,inheritence was lost.Inheritence doesnt only mean financial blessings,it also means the possession of what all you have when you become a child of God and all that goes when we live a life of sin and according to our own desires.When we look in Joshua 17 we see that the inheritence is claimedThe steps therefore are1)SEEK THE WORD2)GET THE WORD3)KEEP THE WORD4)CLAIM THE WORD

2)EXPEL THE INHABITANTS(17:12)
We read that the people of Manasseh didnt drive away the inhabitants of that place Yet the Manassites were not able to occupy these towns, for the Canaanites were determined to live in that region. 13 However, when the Israelites grew stronger, they subjected the Canaanites to forced labor but did not drive them out completely. Many a time we too like the people of Manasseh dont drive away the inhabitants,We need to understand that we fight many a battle not against flesh and blood but against power and dark forces of the air and principalities.Only people in a battlefield get to become overcomers.We also need to prune the old habits,inhabitants of our bodies and expel them ,as our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.Lets expel the enemy from our lives,our ministry,our jobs...our churches...

3)EXTEND YOUR IMPACT(17:15) Why have you given us only one allotment and one portion for an inheritance? We are a numerous people and the LORD has blessed us abundantly." 15 "If you are so numerous," Joshua answered, "and if the hill country of Ephraim is too small for you, go up into the forest and clear land for yourselves there in the land of the Perizzites and Rephaites." 17 But Joshua said to the house of Joseph—to Ephraim and Manasseh-"You are numerous and very powerful. You will have not only one allotment 18 but the forested hill country as well. Clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours;

We also know many a time that we are living in congestion,but we dont want or take steps to come out of that.Joshua tells the house of Joseph to understand their power and extend their impact.When we tithe and give to missions we extend our impact,when we know the gifts God has given us and when we trade that we extend our impact,we cut many wild forests and plant the grace in many lives.Brother.Sister..we are living in a hurting world and we need to agents of healing by extending our impact as much as possible.Acts 1:8(AMP)..You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit shall come upon you and you (shall make an impact..)shall be my witnesses.
4)EXALT THE NAME OF GOD(v25)
When the house of Joseph came to Joshua they said the canaanites have IRON CHARIOTS.Those who glorify their problems will not face an expansion.They underestimate the power of God when they glorify their problems.Joshua saysthough the Canaanites have iron chariots and though they are strong, you can drive them out."We need this type of gutsy faith and trust in God to experience an expansion.What is that area that needs an expansion...a possession of God's promises and blessings..experience expansion in the mighty name of Jesus

As I was asking God on what should I share with you,He reminded me of 2 characters in the Bible whose decisions changed their destiny.Gen 4:16:So Cain went out from the Lord's presenceGen 33:11..Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent Both Cain and Joshua were exposed to the presence of God,their response was different though.Cain went out from the presence of God but Joshua remained there. Let me share 3 important characteristics what the Holy Ghost inspired me to share .

1)Welcome the presence of God in your life Moses cried out to God "If your presence does not go up with us,do not send us up from here".This should be our prayer.We should be always relying on His presence.His presence is the need of the hour.In midst of the valley of shadow of death,you will fear no evil because of His presence.Do not forget to welcome His presence in your life every day.His presence is truely the essence of life.

2)Make the presence of God your dwelling place God promises in His word from Ps 91"If you make the Most High your dwelling,even the Lord who is my refuge,then no disaster will come near your tent.Making His presence your dwelling place will bring blessings of God and will keep you from the evil one.In these evil times,we need to make Him our dwelling.Psalmist says in Ps 23:6 says "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of our life,and I shall dwell in the House of the Lord forever"

3)The presence of God is His promise

Our Lord before He ascended to heavens said"LO,AM WITH YOU EVEN UNTO THE END OF THE AGE".The Lord promised us His blessed presence and we need to claim that.He will never leave us and we need to cling on to His presence like never before.Lets pray more,fast more.........we need His presence. Remember lets be like Joshua who never left the presence of the Lord.His presence will make the difference in your life.Cain became a wanderer as he left the blessed presence but Joshua was elevated to lead His people. God bless you this month.May He protect you and bless you with His presence. Father I just ask thee one thing,help all of us to make your presence our dwelling place,We invite your presence in our midst.May you be exalted this month as we lift up thy name now,Give us thy strength and peaceIn Jesus's nameAmen

The Bible says "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge(Hosea 4:6).Everything happening in the world has a heavenly dimension to it.Through Viewpoint we desire that we may understand more about the times we are living in.

RECESSION

We are facing the most unpredictable time in History.Millions of people around the world are facing job cuts and pink slips.What is the reason behind this?People commiting suicides, world leaders gathering and breaking their heads on how to save the world.

What is the reason for a recession?

We know that Pride goes before a fall.

In the Bible we read that whenever people went away from God, there was a famine in the land. Remember the famine in the times of Elijah.Famines and recession is a wake up call for the people of God.Hosea 13:6..When I fed them they were satisfied;when they were satisfied ,they became proud ;then they forgot me

When people got money and sudden increase in prospects they forgot God,they never were interested in the work of God and they forsook Him in the comfort of their lives.They started disobeying the people of God and the godly parents.They like the "prodigal" got the comfort of the Father and ran away from the House and encountered the Famine.

What should be our Lifestyle?

We cannot run away from the famine.We have to face it.The only way we can face these times is by coming back to ourselves.We should know where we were and now where we are.Like how the Prodigal returned to the Father's house, we need to return back to God confessing our weakness.God always preserved His people in times of famine,but we need to get back to that way to the Father's house.A broken and contrite Spirit God will never forsake.So as people of God lets come back to Him,fast ,pray and seek His face for mercy.Pray a prayer like Daniel 9.

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD?

I believe that the coming of the Lord will take place soon.The economy will revive again as the people of God still are on the face of the earth.God always regards the prayers of you and me and because of you and me God will spare the earth.I believe through this recession many will come to the knowledge of God and a mighty revival will spread across the planet.Remember this is a sign of the last days.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

1.Pray,pray and stand in the gap and ask for God's mercy.

2.Trust in God with all your heart(see Jer 17:7-9).Never boast about what you have.Boast only in God's cross and His mercy

3.Participate in the work of God.Do not be a person who attends the church.Participate by giving your best energy,time and talents for the expansion of His kingdom.If you are just attending a church,God might just be attending in your life.If you participate He will partner with you

4.Sow seeds of encouragement and hope and faith in other lives.The world is looking for hope.Show our Lord to them.

5.Look forward to the coming of the Lord.

Church ...as I Ponder

6 months of church ministry taught me many lessons.Thought to write some of em so that later I can recollect the great deeds of what He has done.
Taking up the ministry was not easy.It was challenging.After around 4 months of prayer and seeking God's face concerning this He helped us to realize that this was what He wanted.
One of the miracles happened today when the arrogant owner of the previous church building gave us the advance amount which we paid.Yesterday night when we were perplexed with regard to the discouraging challenging GOLIATHIC statement he made.We looked unto God and a verse that came from Michael.W.Smith's A NEW HALLELUJAH assured of divine intervention in this issue.THE ENEMY'S BEEN DEFEATED...Hallelujah. and I joined with King Asa in praying..LET NOT MAN PREVAIL AGAINST THEE.

God is a good God.Now in the church as a Pastor am happy that we are strong ,united and happy to see the favor of God at work in our lives.Shirley's testimony of being the top in the IBM appraisal.Wilson's gold medal from Anna university,Merrilyn's Onsite travel,Ben's presence that gives the Pastor a boost to speak,Priya's library management,Selwyn's marriage to merlyn,Beena aunty's US travel,Immanuel's promotions when firing is happening around,Alitha's competition with Sheba in the dining table,Madhu's commitment to Sammy and church,Joel's words(NOT IN THE MOBILE) and works,Sebastian's and Dilu's invisible presence.. give us reasons to smile and thank God.

The visit's of my dear parents sply my Mother Dr Jayakumari,Rev Billy Graham's timely encouragement ,Pr Joy George's help in communion services,the support of the Prakasams.The encouragement of our dear partners,the backing of Ebianna and priyakka with regard to designing the site and book marks is noteworthy.

With Sheba set to reveal God's gift to our family,am so thankful to God for He was gracious to me to gift me with such a wonderful partner.

The church is poised to have an influence in Bangalore.With the COMFORT OF THE HOLY GHOST the church multiplied in the first century,same will happen in the days to come.I believe greater days of His power are ahead of us and God will have His say in our lives.I believe there is MORE.

Prayers will be answered,church will grow,enemy's plans will be aborted...

MAY-Lets overcome

These are the times of panic around the world.Panic caused by ethnic problems,the killer flu in the so called "H1N1 or swine flu",the economic recession.The Lord does not want His people to live in a state of fear.He expects that we overcome the world.The promises of the Lord never changes and this is the time where we need to live in hope and anticipating the coming of Christ.While the entire world panics we need to be overcomers.The Lord reminded me the need of clinging to His promises these days like never before.This can be compared to the "SPYING THE PROMISED LAND" experience of the Israelites in numbers 13 n 14

Let me share with you 3 important characteristics you need to possess to be an overcomer 27 They gave Moses this account: "We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit. 28 But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites live in the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live near the sea and along the Jordan." 30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.

1)SILENCE THE SOURCES OF DOUBT:Many a time we see the majority speaking and we tend to be flowing along the current.Caleb here chose to have a different stand.He first silenced the people.Many victories start from the heart.When we chose to silence the people,when we take CAPTIVE all thoughts obedient to Christ,we start the journey of being an overcomer.So lets silence all sources of doubts.Jesus had to speak "GET AWAY FROM ME SATAN" to the nagging Peter who tried persuading Jesus on not going to the cross. Ps 131:2-32 But I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with its mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. 3 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.

2)SPEAK OUT YOUR VISION"WE should go up and take possession of the Land".This was the vision Caleb had.He never doubted in that.He knew the God who brought him out of Egypt.He said WE SHOULD GO UP AND TAKE POSSESSION.We also should be people who encourage one another about the great promises God has for us.We need to take possession of those promises by speaking out the VISION.Lets speak out and take hold of the promises God has for us

3)SENSE THE VICTORY:Overcomers have not doubt that they will overcome,they do not see the magnitude of their problems.They always approach those with God.When Caleb said"We can certainly do it",he had already sensed a victory in His mind. St Paul sensed victory when he said"I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME THE STRENGTH"LETS NOT SENSE DEFEAT in pursuit of our vision.I read the other day that "VISION IS WHAT YOU SEE WHEN GOD"S POWER AND GRACE STRIKES".Yes these are days where we need to take possession of the great promises God has for us.There are opposing forces,but we shall overcome.We shall overcome the ecnomic recession,the epidemic,we shall overcome over the powers of darkness and will possess what God gives us.hallelujah

Lets pray a moment for these critical issues
Father we pray in the name of your son Jesus Christ that thou would heal us by your stripes.
Let the plague stop and we pray that thou would forgive our sins and heal our land.
We also pray for our daily bread that thou would provide for us,PLease protect us by your power and word.Let your blood cover us from all attacks of the evil one.We pray that we will overcome by the great promises you have given us,Bless us and the world ..prepare us for thy coming,

April-From gloom to bloom

Gen 26 starts in a gloomy situation in the land.There is a famine and the man of God Isaac also is in the land when famine struck.Its very much equivalent to the recession period we are facing.As big companies and corporates run out of funds,as people are given pink slips,its very typical of the situation we are facing.We can be gloomy as the world,but the word of God came to me telling YOU CAN BLOOM in these tough times if you take measures like Isaac.
1)STAY(v2)
The Lord asks Isaac to STAY in the place and he specifically asks Him to STAY in the land.When situations rise against us,our natural tendency is to look for alternate solutions.If one thing that the Lord expects from us ,it is to STAY in His presence.People of God who stay in His presence will not affected by any external situations.Naomi and Elimelech went to Moab in times of famine and landed in great catastrophe.God expects us to be clothed by His power.See Ruth 2:8.Boaz asks Ruth to STAY in the field and not to go anywhere else.In Luke 24:49:Jesus asks His disciples to stay in the city till they are clothed with power from above.
So Isaac obeyed and stayed in Gerar.

2)SOW(v12-15)
We read Isaac planted crops.He sowed seeds in the time of famine.The world must have mocked him,but He believed in God and agreed with the promise the Lord gave Him in the above verses.When we agree with God we disagree with our flesh and situations.When suicides and hopelessness is spreading ,God expects us to SOW His word of Hope and blessing into lives .You are the need of the world.Never give in to doubt.Sow love in people,Sow faith in the lives and be a blessing.We read the Lord gave a 100 fld harvest to Isaac and He became very rich and wealthy in times of recession.Child of God SOW in tears and reap with joy,.Carry the seeds with weeping and return homes with sheaves rejoicing.Hallelujah(Ps 126:5)
Read Gal 6:7-10.Do not be weary in doing good.Lets not be people who hurt...these are the days where God has called us to SOW into the hearts of people
God is faithful to give 100 fold harvest

3)SEEK(v15,18-22)
Isaac kept on digging wells.He unearthed the wells at the time of his father.This shows that we need to seek the presence of God.The presence of God is everywhere but we can appropriate only by spending time in digging through the word,persevering in prayer.Fasting and standing in the gap.The Bible says Seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all these things will be added unto you(Mt 6:33)See Jer 2::13,Deut 28:29

4)SEE(v28-33)
The enemy who was hostile to you will come back to you.In the land of rejection God will lift you up.The world will see the God who was with you and blessed you in times of famine.The same Haman who lifted gallows for you will be the one who will take for a ride on the King's horse.I wish the Spirit take a grip on you and encourage you to be like Isaac.See the goodness of God ,see the God of turnarounds.See the Lord working for you,...Hallelujah...

May you be blessed prospered this month.Be of Good courage.I speak blessings and peace and deliverence in your life.May bondages,anxious thoughts break and let the Spirit of God take complete control

My first glimpse of my baby

It was really awesome to see how the Lord was forming our baby.The first images were like WOOOOOOOOW,God is really great and He forms us,He makes our framework.His work in our life starts from the mother's womb and He wants to continue till we see His face.It looked like Sheba haha,said by the doctor and me and it was opening and closing its mouth.It was one of the best moments of my life.3rd April.2009.
Cradle hospital in jayanagar was the place and we truely cherished those moments,

These are the days of pink slips,debts on the rise,Shattered dreams,broken hearts and people feel all is lost.For a child of God we need to understand and confess the goodness of the Lord.This month the Lord inspired me to tell all God’s people to make confessions of your faith.Your tongue can determine your destiny.So don’t think about giving up,I follow a God who is the Hope of glory.He is my hope hallelujah.

The word of God says that we are called to live and not die.God promises us life in abundance .

Let me share with you 3 vital life providers

1)THE WORD OF GOD

Matthew 4:4

Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

We should understand that its not the calories that we get from bread or the meat that you eat that you live.Of course it helps,but I believe If God tells”Let Ashley Live” I shall live.Provision,protection will come as a package.My Life is not determined by the job I do,its by the word of God.Hallelujah.The centurion whom the Lord commented for his great faith said”One word from you can heal my servant”He compared the power of His words to that of the Lord.If I say come.one comes.if I say Go,one goes…Similarly Lord if you say Let me live,I shall live

2)The Faith in God

Hab 2:4

“but the righteous will live by his faith”

Without Faith in God ,we cannot live.A double minded person is unstable in all His ways.A doubting person cannot get anything from God.

When the disciples were facing a life threatening storm,the Lord looked at them and asked”where is your faith”.God looks at your faith.The amount of faith you have shows the maturity you have in God.

The faith you have signifies the belief you have in His power

Lets remind ourselves that without faith its impossible to please God.Its by faith men of the old were approved by God

3)The Spirit of God(Eze 47:9)

So where the river flows everything will live

The Holy Spirit is referred in the Bible many a times as a river , as a stream that flows from God.

Where the Spirit flows , there everything will live.As you open up to the Spirit of God,you will not die but will carry the power and life that the Spirit gives.Remember,when God breathed upon the Man whom He made out of mud and clay,he became a living being

Will you open up to the precious Spirit of God.Lets not live lives grieving the precious Spirit .O Hallelujah,I can fell and sense the presence of the Spirit all around me as I write this.

Let the Spirit of God take control of our lives,jobs,ministries,families and nation…as we open up to Him

Heavenly Father in thy presence we want to make a confession of faith”I shall not die,but live and will proclaim what the Lord has done.Precious Father send your word and help us to have tremendous faith in you.We want to open up our lives to the movement of the Spirit.Sweep across our lives,our jobs,our families,our nations so that we might live in thee and have partnership with the precious Spirit of God.We confess that closed doors be open,we bind the enemy and allow the Spirit to take us to the new level which you desire from us.Protect us.help us in the month of march.

These days we hear a lot of news about the global economic slowdown,recession,unemployment,terrorism,wars…and we are living with lots of fears.F
or a child of God who believes and lives a purposeful life,there should not be fear of unemployment as we are already employed for the King of Kings.
In the verse above we see the Lord telling WE must.He included all of us and let me tell you we have a WORK to do and the reward is with the Lord.The economy of heaven’s is not for the greedy,its for the humble,meek,servants of the Lord who take heed to His word and work for His cause.
Some characteristics of a Worker of God

1)He has to Die to Himself(John 12:24)
I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. 25The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
The Lord Jesus emphazised in working for Him.For that cause ,we need to hate our life,we need fo die to our self.Only if we do that we can be used of God and that will lead to eternal reward.
The Lord promises that the Father will honor those who serve Him.If the Father honors no one can put you down, if the father honors ,child of God ,its marvelous,but it takes so much from us.Dying to self and loving God more than the pleasures of the world

2)His Food longing will be to serve God(John 4:34)

34"My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.
Jesus had no other longing than to finish the WORK of Him who sent him,Child of God you are Sent by God.You are not an accident.You are in the will of God and will you long to do His work.
While hanging on the cross,carrying all our sins,the son of God cried”It is finished”

3)His lifestyle will be to please God

3Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs—he wants to please his commanding officer. 5Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules. 6The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops.
Pleasing God in our life…serving Him with all our heart, mind and strength.
The Lord needs faithful servants and He is looking for you and me
Remember the verse we saw at first,We must do the work of Hm

1)What is your commitment to the work of God
2)How much time do you take pr day/week to do His work/think about His work
3) see acts 20:24 and pray with a commitment surrendering your life for the Master’s use

Greetings dearest one in His precious name,
God’s mercy led us into the beginning of another new Year.We had a powerful time of praise word and worship in our church.Praise God
The Lord impressed into my heart that 2009 is going to be an year of Growth.
Growth in your Spiritual Life as you welcome the work of the Holy Ghost.Growth in your material aspects as you grow Spiritually.

John 4 describes the conversation of the Samaritan Lady with our Lord Jesus.
The Lord intervened in the life of the Samaritan Woman and the response of the Samaritan Woman was commendable.

1)GO.(V28)
The Samaritan Woman we see “LEFT HER JAR” and WENT back to the TOWN..This year the Lord asks us to GO to the Town where we belong.Our circle of influence.The Lord does not want us to be people who concentrate on our needs and miss out a great harvest.LEAVE YOUR JARS AND GET INTO THE TOWN.
Math28:18-20 SAYS.Go unto all nations making disciples,baptizing them in the name of the Father,Son and the Holy Ghost.TEACHING them to observe whatever I have commanded you to do.
HE PROMISES US HIS PRESENCE.
GEN 33;14:My presence shall go before thee and give thee rest
His presence will give us REST from Stress.May His presence fill you as you read this and take a decision to GO WITH HIS MIGHT into your families,friends,Cities.

2)GLOW(V39)
We read that because of the Woman’s TESTIMONY,they believed in Jesus.May we be TESTIMONIES that an entire City,en entire group and family will BELIEVE in the Lord.The world is dark.People who give no value to one another,who discourages us,whose lifestyle is filled with sin.The Bible says”Shine as stars Holding the word of God”.
Matt 5:14-16.Ye are the light of the world.SO let your light shine before men so that they may see your GOOD WORKS and glorify your father in heaven.

LET’s SHINE FOR JESUS.GLOW FOR JESUS(See IS60) for your promise as you shine.

3)GROW(v41-42)
The City of Samaria experienced a revival when Jesus was with them.We read that the CITY grew in the knowledge of God.They said to the woman,We believe in Jesus not because of what you said,but we ourselves have heard from Him.They asked Jesus to stay in that CITY for 2 more days.There were a large group of believers there.GROWTH happened there.

The Lord promises a GROWTH in your Ministry,in your CITY,in your Field,in your Jobs,in your families as you GO and GLOW like the Samaritan Woman,
1Cor 3:7 says”SO neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything,but ONLY GOD gives the GROWTH.
O child of God,if you are reading this and if the word is burning in your heart.Receive it with FAITH.Lord I claim your growth in this new year.

Dearest in the Lord

What a time are we living in.The luxury and money power could not save the precious lives of people in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.Fear and panic all around and how much does the world need our Everlasting Father,Wonderful COunseller,Prince of Peace and the Mighty God.
How much we need the government to be on His shoulders and am sure that the Lord's coming is near.Let us prepare ourselves and ask the Holy Spirit to do His precious work.Lets open up our hearts and homes and hands for His precious work.Traditions and beliefs cannot save us.THERE IS ONLY ONE NAME UNDER HEAVEN AND AMONGST MEN TO BE SAVED AND LETS LIFT HIS BLESSED AND PRECIOUS NAME -JESUS

John 3:16 is a well known passage for all of us.Let me tell you a truth.When we see the violence,hatred and selfishness around I have a Goodnews for you.GOD LOVES THE WORLD,HE LOVES YOU AND ME.He has already displayed the precious love He has for us when He sent Jesus to die for us on a cross.O How He loves you and me.What can we do in return for His great Love

1)Appreciate His love(1John 3:1)
Behold,what manner of Love the father has given unto us that we might be called the children of God.Talk about His love this season.Take a decision to reach out with His love to your collegue,to your boss,to your neighbour.Appreciating His love ,talking about the greatness of His love will draw people unto Him.He gave us His everything,so that we might be saved.Precious soul,You are loved by God and the cross at Golgotha is a proof for that.WIll you appreciate His love,talk about His love.Worship Him for His love?

2)Appropriate His love(John 3:16)
Take possession of His love.We read whosoever believeth in Him.You can appropriate His love by Believing in Him.Belive in Him for your salvation and deliverence.He can save you.He is mighty to save.Your family,your unsaved friends are not far off from His love.If we appropriate His love,we will be saved

3)Associate with His love(Rom 5:5)

We should not only be on the receiving part,we should be on the giving part,where we show the love of God,where we become carriers of His love.In the verse above we read that THE LOVE OF GOD is poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit He has given us.Can we be ambassadors of His love so that the world can be a better place to Live in?

Lets appreciate,appropriate and associate ourselves with His love.

Thanks be to God who was so gracious to us in bringing us to the eleventh month of this year.When we hear the news of Bomb blasts,communal violence and conflict between nations,caste and creed,we need to lift up our heads in anticipation for the coming of the Lord.His coming is so near.The Spirit of the Lord took my attention to

Jer 6:16
Stand at the crossroads and look;ask for ancient paths ask where the good way is,and walk in it and you will find rest for your souls

If we look at the characters in the Bible,we see that those who were really committed in walking in the "ancient paths" were blessed of the Lord.
Let me tell you in these "modern times" God looks for people who walk in those "ancient paths".Let me take you to some examples from the scriptures.

1)Jer 35:14
'Jonadab son of Recab ordered his sons not to drink wine and this command has been kept. To this day they do not drink wine, because they obey their forefather's command

The Lord commends the recabites for their determination in obeying their forefather's command.So we read in the last verse of this chapter that

Therefore, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: 'Jonadab son of Recab will never fail to have a man to serve me.' "

What a testimony were these recabites to the so called "children of God"

2)II Chronicles 7
17 "As for you, if you walk before me as David your father did, and do all I command, and observe my decrees and laws,
The Lord was asking solomon to follow the ways of his father and if he did that his kingdom would have been established.We know how solomon destroyed the inheritence of His father.He tried adopting "modern principles".He followed the policy of "confirming to the world" like many churches follow these days.
CHildren of God do you remember the ways of your Godly parents.Their path of faith and holiness.

3)Heb 13:7
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith

Old or new testament the word of God admonishes us to look walk in the ancient paths of holiness ,faith and prayer.
Let not our worship be dictated by the loudness of the music,but by the brokeness of heart.Let our prayers invlove more of fasting than feasting.May our lives be sacrificial that being stuffed up.Lets be givers rather than receivers.

Lets not walk in "modern pathways" and destroy the rich blessings we gained through out Godly parents and leaders.
This month may we stand at those cross roads and take a decision.Let us pray "Lord in changing times may I not be confirmed to the pattern of the world,let me be transformed and be made useful for thy use"

Welcome to the world of God(4)

During the past lessons we talked about the world of God and how when we are born again enter a new world ie the Kingdom of God where we have a loving father and elder brother in the Lord jesus.We also saw about the diet in the world of God,the Milk and food.

Lets see this time from the Epistle of Paul to Ephesians. Once we have understood the earlier expositions,the passages that we come across in this epistle will bless our lives immensely

There are 5 fold blessings mentioned here once we are in the world of God.Look at the passage below.Kindly see the highlighted

Ephesians 1

3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5he^[c] predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace 8that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. 9And he^[d] made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.

11In him we were also chosen,^[e] having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Once a person is born anew ,what matters is the SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS He possess.The Spiritual blessings dictates the person’s outlook.No more a person longs for the material wants,His mind is set on things above.His yearning is for the Spiritual.Its sad that these days we covet a lot of the world inside us.Our prayers are filled with material blessings required.The Lord Jesus proclaimed’See ye first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you”.We do not make use or even are aware of the Spiritual blessings and inheritence we possess>

Blessing 1

Election.

Now when a person is born again,its not the choice of that person.Its the power of God.Its He who chose us,we are chosen by God to be Holy and blameless.How blessed is to be chosen by God to come out from the unholiness of the world and its filth

Blessing 2

Adoption

We should understand that we are ADOPTED into the family of God. Adoption doesn’t strip one off the inheritance you have as a son. We do not deserve to be the sons of God,but He adopted us in His mercy.Adoption brings in a new dimension to our lives.We become co-heirs with Christ.In other words,whatever privilege Jesus enjoyed,we enjoy that.Its a big topic.Please spend some time in meditating on this

Blessing 3

Redemption

Redemption is the purchase made by the Lord.He shed His own precious blood and redeemed us and changed our lives.The forgiveness of all our sins,wow,whatever we did in our worldly nature that was sin to our inner being,that prevented our lives from experiencing God was washed by the precious blood of the Lamb.We are redeemed.Confess it loud.I AM REDEEMED BY THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF THE LAMB

Blessing 4

Salvation

Salvation is the fourth blessing. When we accepted whole heartedly the gospel of truth,we were included in Christ.Salvation is getting included in the Lord Jesus Christ.We need to work out our salvation with Fear and trembling.

Blessing 5

Possession

Having believed,opened our heart to the Lord,a big heavenly transaction occurred.We were marked with a seal.The seal is the promised HOLY SPIRIT.The world of God as said earlier is life in the Spirit.From the time we believed the Gospel,the Lord has sealed us with His Spirit.When we feel the Spirit,when we obey His guidance,when we have fellowship with Him,we understand that we are the LORD’s POSSESSION.Being possessed by the Lord,what a truth these verses add!!.

Many a time we don’t live that.We live like being possessed by the evil one,walking according to the flesh,living in sin and grieving the precious Spirit.If you have not had a close encounter with the Lord,accept the Gospel,goodnews now,believe that the Lord Jesus came for you to the earth and died for your sins.You will feel the blessed fellowship of the Spirit inside your heart,guiding you.Ask the Lord to fill you with more of the Spirit.I rely on the Spirit this sacred moment to instill an new level of fellowship with you.Being Possessed by God you is the greatest blessing.You have a heavenly possession.

Lets live in the WORLD OF GOD!!

Heb 12:15See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 17Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. He could bring about no change of mind, though he sought the blessing with tears.

Grace is something we should not miss. Grace is what that takes you to the throne room of God and makes all your wants and wishes known. Grace is that important that it covers your sins and enables you to seek His face.

The world that was distancing away from God and His Holy word, when the Law brought by Moses couldn’t make anyone righteous with God.The Son of God brought Grace into our lives.

John 1:

17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Grace is not the license for us to sin,it’s a that brings us closer to God because from Jesus grace flowed.

Be careful of the Bitter roots.

Roots are in our hearts.Roots in our hearts determine the fruits we bear.Bitter roots give rise to bitter fruits and we need to guard our heart with all diligence for out of it flows issues of life and when God sees a bitter root ,we will not be able to experience His grace.One bitter root in your life can defile many.So lets be careful of what we cultivate in our heart.If there is any wicked way.Any wrong thought.Any emotional hurts,any unbiblical relationship,lets uproot it.Lets take some time this month in accordance to what God wants us to do.TO keep our hearts cleared of any bitter roots.

Be careful of the Choices you make.

Many a time like esau we end up making wrong choices that disturb the relationship which we have with God and the Grace we possess gets affected.Esau was having his inheritance.he did not ask it.Grace is the position we enjoy in God’s family which we got without us asking for it.Grace is unmerited favor of God.

Like Esau we most of the time do not realize the great position we are in. We forget the glorious riches of His inheritance in us and SELL off the inheritance for MONEY ,for FAME,for a meal. We lose sight of who we are and choices dismantle the grace from our lives. Children of God living in grace period, don’t forget if DEVIL wanted to strip the son of God from the grace and power He possessed in the desert, the enemy will offer us many “good-looking” “mouth-watering” choices. Lets be careful of the choices we make

Be careful of the LIVES we live

The writer to Hebrews warns us” See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau “Godless lives will lead to graceless lives. Sexual immorality and the so called “cool” culture has invaded our culture. Sexual immorality and Godlessness are so prevalent that the Grace factor in our lives is in danger.

Lets live our lives in the fear of God.

Yes the message is clear, if we are careful of the roots we have, the choices we make and the lives we live, we will receive His grace poured out.Its all that we need.

May God bless us as we appropriate His grace in our lives

Father we ask you for grace more and more in our lives. See our hearts o Holy God and test whether there is any wicked way in us and lead us in the path everlasting. We just want you. We need you so much. Help us to guard our heart with all diligence so that we will live a life appropriating thy grace.We pray that thy grace will abound and work in our lives. Grant us thy grace this month.We remember our brothers and sisters in Orissa in persecution.Thy Gopsel is thy power.Show thy power o God and bring about a great change in the lands.We pray for our parents,siblings,churches,pastors.Grant mercy unto all.May Healing and power flow.May closed doors open and wounds be healed.

The Diet

During the past 2 expositions, the Lord enabled us to understand the differences between the Physical world one is in and the change that happens when he is born again.

When a person is born again His desire and appetite changes.His hunger and thirst is different.We are looking briefly today at the “diet” in the world of God.

Meanwhile his disciples urged him, "Rabbi, eat something." 32But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you know nothing about." 33Then his disciples said to each other, "Could someone have brought him food?" 34"My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work

The Lord Jesus tells that doing the will of God and to finish his work was his diet.

Lets take a moment of introspection,many a time we use the Spiritual world to reap material benefits.

Before taking up ministry we enquire about the “FACILITIES” provided.We check up what is the “salary” the church may give or they pay.

To know the will of God and to do it we need to hear the word of God.

If we see 1 Peter 2:1-2

as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,^[a] 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

The pure milk of the word.Wow….How much time do we long for His word?What is the time we spend reading His word?You can have spiritual growth only if you desire the pure milk and drink that.

The Lord says in Matthew 5:6

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled

The hunger we have ,the thirst we have to live a righteous life.We are not called to compromise with the worldly system and patterns.We are called to set a standard by living a righteous godly life.

Rom 14:17 tells us a bit more about the World of God

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

just take some time and ponder on these 3 words RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE and JOY in the Holy Ghost.This is the world of God,the kingdom of God.Our appetite and desire changes.Our yearning changes.

Let our food be doing the will of God,lets thirst for the word of God,lets be in atmosphere of righteousness,joy and peace in the Holy Ghost.This is what is important in the world of God.Are we having that righteousness.Are we bubbling with that Joy in the Holy Ghost.Do we possess that peace that passeth all understanding?

If not ask God for His grace to truly be in His world and lets pray “Lord let thy kingdom come,let thy will be done”

The New Family

After a new born baby is born, it is a transition from the WOMB into the world. Its noticing carefully the Mother that Pats and who is always behind the child,notices the hugs of the dad that it gets,the adapting process.It recognizes its name when called by mama and dad.It starts crawling,the diet and mental system develops.Its really a joy when we see the little ones starting to communicate,when it starts adapting to the Family.

When the Lord revealed to Nicodemus to be born again.He definitely meant a transition from the worldly system to the Godly system.In other words the world of God.

Once a person is born again,I mentioned in my previous post that there is great tremendous joy in heaven.The citizenship is done and to take things further,the new born child should be accustomed to hear the voice of God,the new born baby is in the safe hands of the Father and the new born believer who is born of the Spirit will experience the Spirit of the God the most like how the child gets the warmth of the Mother the most.The Spirit will teach the new born believer to adapt to the world of God to hear the savior’s voice.When the new born believer finds itself in this new system,it doesn’t find lonely when there is the gentle communion of the elder brother which it has in Jesus.Have we known this truth.He is our brother,our older brother.Hallelujah!!

He is the one who opened the new world where the believer could experience the warmth of the Spirit and relation with the Father.O How I wish you my precious reader to grasp this eternal mystery.hallelujah.praise The Lord.The elder brother is in the house!!:-)

He makes known our needs to our Father.Our heavenly dad.

Let me close this section,by not going more further.Are you in the world of God.

Are you experiencing the warmth and affection and Guidance of the Spirit.Are you hearing your elder brother’s voice.have you understood the great love the father has shown on us that we may be called the CHILDREN OF GOD.?

Grow closer to Him,Let Him who has an ear hear what the Spirit says.Let us not be of the world,lets be in the World of God.

Father,I come to thee again.Thank you for reminding me that am in the household of God.many a time I feel lonely,frustrated that I don’t open my inner eyes to see the glorious riches and the glorious family am attached to.Thank you Father for loving me for thy son Jesus who brought me into thy house.I yield my body to experience the warmth ,care and guidance of the Holy Spirit.I don’t want to be worldly but want to be truly in thy world.

May my life be a blessing to others as I invite them to also be in thy family.

I love you so much

Open my eyes that I may behold the mysteries of the Scripture again

Welcome to the world of God

When a child is born,that is the best thing to happen.We love its actions,its language and we welcome the tiny little thing into our world.God sent His son to welcome the fallen Human race into His world,into His kingdom

John 3:16:For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish,but have everlasting life.

He was disclosing an important truth to Nicodemus.

“I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again”.

In other words you can see the kingdom or you can enter the World of God if you are born again.

Nicodemus had a genuine doubt

How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"

5Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit^[b] gives birth to spirit. 7You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You^[c] must be born again.' 8The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

The Spirit must give birth to Spirit.There should be a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit to be born of the Spirit.Its like, the Spirit is the one who gives birth to you ,like in the flesh how your mother gave birth to you.We need to be Spiritual not in the flesh to enter the World of God.Still we see in our “spiritual world” many of the flesh claiming to be of the Spirit.

In other words if you are influenced by the Spirit that you get convicted of your sins and repent from your worldly ways,then you are a PRODUCT of the Spirit and you will enter into the world of God.

The Lord said BE BORN AGAIN,BE BORN OF THE WATER,BE BORN OF THE SPIRIT.Enter into my kingdom.

When that happens 2 things happen

1) In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents

2) do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven

Like how in the world we rejoice at the birth of a new baby,in heavens there is tremendous rejoicing when a wretched sinner turns to the Lord,.Like how we maintain birth register and validate citizenship.When we are born again,our names are entered in the heavenly register.We are no more of the world but of the Lord.We do not live as others live but we live for God.

Hallelujah..Welcome to the world of God!!

Let me ask all of God’s people reading this a question.

Have you been born again?or are you living an amphibian life sometimes in the land sometimes in water.God longs for truly spiritual people who are focused on God and his kingdom.Churches are demolished,what is our response?Missionaries are struggling to find food and a day’s meal while we are working FULLY for the world?

In the coming days I am relying on God to share some insights on WORLD OF GOD and How it looks like and How people of the World and People of God’s world differ.

May God bless you.If you have not been born again or living an amphibian life,in these moments of powerful working of the Spirit in your heart,just recollect all the past sinful acts,thoughts that pained the Lord.He wants you to be in His world.Will you pray with me with deep conviction and true repentance

Father I come to you.I acknowledge and confess my sinful activities before your throne.Lord make me and mould me.Cleanse me from my sinful acts and thoughts.I repent of living and making my life worldly.I want to have righteousness,joy and peace of the Holy Ghost.Father,write my name in the book of life and do not blot my name from there.I open my heart to you.Take your place.

Ashes:When things go beyond your control..........

There was panic in the house.The guests who turned up were more than what was calculated or the wine intake was more than what was expected.Lack of wine in the house of feast is the most miserable time one host can have. Reputation and everything was at stake. Things went beyond control. Mary knew something that no one else knew.Mary had the knowledge of who Jesus was.The host did not know what Jesus could do, though he invited him. Many a time we are like that host who just invited Christ. Sounding quite similar to people being born and brought up in Christian families. The knowledge of who Jesus is and the knowledge of His power can give us significant breakthroughs in our times of panic.We panic because we do not know the power of Jesus whom we have invited into our homes and hearts. The Jars were within His sight, the water was within His reach.The molecular structure of H20 changed to CH₃COOH.Hallelujah

The boat in which the disciples were travelling was many miles away from the shore. To make the matters worse,the wind was against them and the boat was tossed about by the waves. It was a tuff time for the disciples to control the boat.Imagine having a roller coaster ride.The waves were putting the boat up and down. Such a terrifying time. The story doesn’t end there.Hallelujah.You might be facing a problem that is threatening to capsize your marriage your finances your ministry. Praise God your story is not over. The one who made the sea will walk over the sea and come to you. When things go beyond ur control.,its always within His reach.He will not pass you by. He will come to you.

See those fearful disciples,not knowing whom they served,forgot all what the Lord told them.Now that their “rabbi” was dead.They were all “united” and closed the door fearing that the jews may find and kill them.Fear takes you to a place where you lose control.

They could not do anything.The one whom they followed was no more.The master died the most cruelest form of death.All their hopes were shattered.But the story didn’t end there.Through those closed doors came the one whom the world crucified.Jesus rose again and when things went beyond their control,it was always within His reach.

End Note:The persecutions in orissa,the times we are living in are evil.Want to encourage you that when things go beyond your control.The one who saw the Israelites and came down for them will come down for us.He will come and save us.

Yes when things are beyond our control its always within His reach.

The Lord our watcher

Children of God,what a start to this month.Hundreds homeless and shattered in Bihar due to floods and many escaping to jungles in Orissa and living in fear because of the communal riots and persecution.The Lord reminded me in my time of meditation that He is our watcher.We are not people who have are orphans,we are not without a protection.His children is His possession and he watches over us.What a consolation is the word of God.David also as he wrote Psalm 121 was living in catastrophic times like we are in.Lets see some qualities of our God who watches over us.let me put it in simple terms for us to understand

1)ALL time protection

He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

There is never a moment that He slumbers or sleeps.Imagine if the Lord closes his eyes for a second what a calamity we all will face.As a small baby crawling on the ground is under the watchful care of the mama,more intensely,more effectively ,more passionately He takes care of you and me.Cant we have a praise break here.For all those innocent in Orissa I believe they are under His watchful eyes.Thank you Lord that you never sleep nor slumber and you always watch over me

1)All Round protection

By all round protection I mean He encircles and protect us.In this Psalm we read that

5the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

More closer than how the sun rays hit you is His invisible layer of protection around you.The Moon or sun,the cosmic elements not within our reach they cannot harm you,because you are His child and you are encircled by His presence and power.

Zechariah 2:5
And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,' declares the LORD, 'and I will be its glory within

3.All Life protection

The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life; 8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore

All through your life ,all your life He protects you!!

He will not neglect your life.He protects your life as a whole your coming and going,your life is precious to Him and He watches over you.Be confident,be assured and thank Him for He is our watcher.

Lets pray

Father we thank you for the new month you have given us in your mercy.Times are in your hands and we are also in thy hands.For whatever purpose you caused us to see September let that come to pass.We need you so much Lord.Thank you for reassuring that you watch over us every moment,every way and all our life.Father if at all anyone is sick raise them up,encourage every discouraged soul,anxious fearlful ,weak one I place them to thy hands.Let thy Spirit of liberty and power descend on them and revive them .Lord God they have read thy word.Now work in their lives I pray.Prepare us to be a sanctuary pure and Holy unto you.

Protect us from evil and we once again come back to thee,Help us to pray like never before,serve thee like we never before,love thee like never before.

The sea is the habitat of over 1,000 invertebrate species and 200 soft and hard corals and is the world's northernmost tropical sea.The Israelites who were around 40 lakhs in number crossed this water body after Moses,the man of God stretched his shepherd’s staff over the sea and the Lord brought an east wind that divided the sea.After they crossed Moses stretched the rod again back and the waters came over the mighty egyptian army.all were amazed,some started just talking how great the escape was but Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron's sister, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women followed her, with tambourines and dancing. 21 Miriam sang to them:
       "Sing to the LORD,
       for he is highly exalted.
       The horse and its rider
       he has hurled into the sea."

We need initiators of worship,not silencers.We need hearts full of awe rather than mouth full of talk.We need Miriams with “tambourines” and not with “Cell-phones” and “files”.

Look at David, who progressed from being a “celebrity” in today’s terms to being the King of Israel. We read that when the Ark of the Lord that signified the presence of the Most High was brought into the city, David who was responsible danced with all His might. When churches and fellowships these days become just “formal” than “sincere” gatherings we need responsible David’s to bring the presence of God back. It is a struggle, it may cost even life but how we need His presence. Seeing this beautiful entry of God’s presence into the city david danced with all His might. He saw something which no one else saw.hallelujah.Lets worship, seeing the beauty of His presence. We need David’s who dance in His presence not Saul’s whose anointing is gone. We need the presence of God back in our homes and lives and churches.We need David’s who count the presence of God of much worth than the positions they hold. We need Men of God,not kings,doctors or reverends.!!We don’t need plans, we need prayers. We need not discuss, lets act. Lets bring back the ark.

See the imprisoned disciples in the prison of Rome. Paul and Silas were their names. The world tied them in chains, beat them badly and bruised them. It was not a place of comfort unlike “modern prisons”. Their bodies were in pain and hands tied, but their mouth of praise and lives of worship could not be tied up. They started singing and praising. Heaven could not stop working for them. Child of God who is going through the darkest times, let me tell you, don’t give up, praise God with all your heart. Human chains will break. The roman prison became the “work area” of the awesome God that night.If your situation, binding situation, blinding situation invokes praise from the bottom of your heart, your chains will be God’s work area. Angels will descend, the earth will not be able to contain it.O God come down and save us.We praise you Lord. We worship you Lord. may Miracles and healings flow,may souls be saved,may prison doors open and chains break.!!

Bring me near draw me to your side

August 2008-Jehovah-Jireh!!

Abraham and Issac, it’s a passage where we have heard lots about. I remember hearing a lot of sermons on the great obedience Abraham showed .The Bible is so unique that as we read a passage again and again we get new thoughts and insights which give us great encouragement in moving forward in our Christian life. The word of God is LIVING and ACTIVE. The passage read over and over a thousand times give thousand unique revelations!!Hallelujah I praise God for the written wordJ.Let me share some insights about Abraham from this passage in Gen 22

1)Abraham knew how to realize God’s voice (REALIZATION OF GOD’S VOICE)

Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, "Abraham!"
"Here I am," he replied. 2 Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about

This was the same voice that called him from the land of UR,the same voice that promised him a multitude of descendants.Abraham did not think twice,He never thought that this was from the devil.Humanly all of us can think,the same God promised something,will He take it back?.If we were in Abraham’s place,we would have considered that to be “the devil’s ploy”.No, Abraham knew the voice!!Child of God we should be in a realm where we clearly hear and discern God’s voice.!!Its so important.The Bible says in John 10:27My sheep listen to my voice

In Rev 3:20,we read”If any man hears my VOICE”.This month let our prayer be “O Lord tune my ears to hear your voice”

2)Abraham knew how to Respond to the Voice of GOD.(RESPONSE TO GOD’S VOICE)

Early the next morning Abraham got up and saddled his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about

Early next morning,what a phrase!!It was not because He was going to get some riches.He was so eager to obey God no matter what it costed.Abraham who interceded for Lot didn’t intercede for his son.He just wanted to obey.Delayed obedience is disobedience.Whatever God says Lets do it.Do it as soon as possible.Help a ministry which God has given you a burden,reconcile with broken relationships..whatever be,hear God’s voice and obey God instantly!!

Lets take abaraham as an example of doing what God says!!

3)Abraham knew how to rely on God’s character(RELIANCE ON GOD’S CHARACTER)

The voice of Abraham never stuttered when He said “GOD Himself will provide”(Gen 22:8)He knew who His God was. He relied on God’s character. When we are sick, we need to know to rely on God’s healing character. When we are in desperate need we should rely on God who provides. Child of God let me tell you,HE WILL PROVIDE. Abraham named the mount as JEHOVAH JIREH!!Name your point of sacrifice as Jehovah Jireh.Missionaries in the field,servants of God laboring for Him,young christian layman… get encouraged, name the point of your obedience JEHOVAH JIREH.No matter what He demands, I will obey Him gladly.I will surrender to Him whole heartedly!!

Rely on God’s character. He gives strength to those who are weak. I pray with all my heart that this month we will see God as Jehovah Jireh providing for every need of yours.He will provide. God Himself will provide

Lets faith arise in your soul..may Healing flow,may closed doors open,may the weak get strong!!In the name of Jesus be made whole!!

Father we thank you for bringing us into august.Thank you for your blessed presence that led us thus far.We request thy presence in our whole being.In our eyes,in our minds we need thy presence to permeate.Father God help us to name our testing places to JEHOVAH-JIREH .Lord you will provide.hallelujah…!!Cover us by thy precious blood,deliver us from the evil one.

Give us a month where we will literally experience Jehovah-Jireh!!

Ashes:Victory over SIN!!

Rom 6:1-3What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

SIN….A three letter word that God hates and our flesh loves.The word first occurs in the Bible in Genesis 4:7

If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it."

The Bible personifies SIN.Its equivalent to a person whom you encounter.You meet that person only after a particular step.WHEN YOU DO NOT DO WHAT IS RIGHT,SIN crouches at your door.At the door of your heart,you will find SIN.This guy desires to have you.It will pull you away from the communion you need to have with God.

The Lord wants/expects you to MASTER over this guy called SIN.

So SIN is not an ACT,it’s the effect of an ACT.You do something not right,you meet this guy called sin.

Then there can be only 2 results.EITHER Sin will pamper you or You will subdue it.

CAIN succumbed to SIN..Let me explain about effects of sin from this chapter(Gen 4)

Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him(v8)Sin justifies your act.The most evident nature of sin is you get pampered that you do not know what you are doing.SIN satisfies your momentary sinful desire.It makes you blind on what you do.
Sin causes you to sin more.Its effect is exponential.Here after the Lord enquires about Abel,Cain tells a lie”I do not know where he is”
Sin causes you to go away from the Presence of God(v16)

The cycle of sin is common in every case mentioned in the scriptures,

We do something not right(in our thoughts or deeds)àWe encounter sinàWe try to justifyàWe try to cover upàPresence of God is lost

The Holy Spirit in one’s life signifies the presence of God in Him.In Psalm 51 after David understood his sinful act he cries.

Cast me not away from thy presence O God and take not thy HOLY SPIRIT from me.

NOW God didn’t design man to be overcome by SIN,but He wants man to overcome the sinful nature he is in.

Paul writes to HEBREWS.

4In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood

So it’s a struggle,a struggle lifelong between 2 natures in you,the flesh and the SPIRIT.When you succumb to the flesh you encounter sin,when you submit to the Holy Spirit,you encounter His presence!!

What should be our response when encountering sin

1)Confess it clearly to God the father.(1 John 1:8-9)

8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

Ps 51:3 For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me. 4 Against you, you only, have I sinned
and done what is evil in your sight

2)Claim the deliverance from the Lord Jesus Christ.(Isaiah 1:18)

The Lord says Come now, let us reason together,"
       says the LORD.
       "Though your sins are like scarlet,
       they shall be as white as snow;
       though they are red as crimson,
       they shall be like wool.

19 If you are willing and obedient,
you will eat the best from the land;

God promises to cleanse you through and through.He promises deliverance through the cross and resurrection power of our Lord Jesus.The act of deliverance from your sins belongs to God.Jesus did it all.This is the power of the gospel,the good news,yes we can be delivered from the power and bondage of sin.

Sin offers a wage and that is death.Rom 6:23”The wages of sin is death”

We read in 1 cor 16 Where, O death, is your sting?"^[h] 56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

JESUS CHRIST CAME TO OUR WORLD to save us and deliver us

Heb 2:14-15 Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— 15and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

Child of God claim your deliverance.

God made him who had no sin to be sin^[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 cor 5:21)

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.(1 peter 2:24)

3)Cling to the Holy Spirit for power from above to fight the good fight of faith.(Acts 1:8)

Lives yielded to the Holy Spirit is powerful.Sin’s clutches cannot torment us again,only if we hear the voice of God and live accordingly.Our Lord did not leave those 12 disciples without power.He said”When the Holy Spirit will come upon you,you shall receive power”.O what a difference the Spirit makes in our lives.

He gives a purpose and a passion in our lives for more of God and less of flesh.

See Isaiah 35 for understanding that realm which God wants us to be.

Dearest in the Lord,

Greetings to all of you in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Thanking God for His mercy in leading us to another month. Our hearts ought to flow with thanksgiving.Hallelujah!Let me share in brief of what the Lord taught me from Daniel 6.We can draw some great insights from there.

1)THE PUBLIC LIFE OF DANIEL(v4)

Please see the verse At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent.

The verse is straightforward, in His conduct of government affairs, they could find no charges against Him. He was not corrupt, He was trustworthy and was very diligent in his duties.

Child of God, how is your public life. Understand also the context for this. The King was planning to promote Daniel. Remember there is a commotion in the enemy’s camp, when the KING has planned a promotion for you..but remember God is on your side!!

2)The PRAYER LIFE OF DANIEL(v10)

Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

Well these days we hear and face a lot of politics. Sometimes we face the heat of the situations. See Daniel had a good rapport with the King. He could have gathered “his group” and had a “committee meeting”, he didn’t do that. Instead he chose to go to his house, where he had his windows opened towards Jerusalem, He knelt down and gave thanks’ what an inspiration this is for us. Child of God am not talking a fairy tale. This happened in history and when you have an audience with THE KING OF KINGS why worry about these earthly frail men? See what our Lord did when the world crucified him

When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly

Child of God…take everything to the Lord in prayer. Prayer is what keeps you safe. Its so powerful..Lets pray, pray and pray

3)The PROSPEROUS LIFE OF DANIEL(v 28)

We all know Daniel was put into the Lion’s den.The Lion became powerless in front of Daniel.The angel of the Lord shut the mouth of the lion.See what all the enemy tried to ruin daniel.v17 A stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the rings of his nobles, so that Daniel's situation might not be changed

God is in control.He is on the throne.Let the enemy do anything,go any extent..but nothing shall harm you.Hallelujah…The chapter ends with Daniel prospering.Rulers were born and dead,but Daniel prospered.

Let me not go further,may the Spirit do His Holy work.May He stir your hearts for praying.May our public life be clean,our prayer life consistent and our prosperity be continual.

Lets pray.

Heavenly father, I come to thy throne. Do the work for which thy Holy word was sent to us this moment. if any one is facing Office politics or workplace worries, I pray that they may pray and take victory. We do not want to form groups and take men into our fold.We cry out to you O God. God of Daniel, move for us. We pray that we will keep our public life worthy of your calling, a consistent prayer life and no matter what,let thy children prosper.Grant us peace and favor. We resist everything that the devil is trying to do. Give us clean thoughts.help us to make our bodies clean and holy for thy Holy Ghost to dwell within.Bless us parents,loved ones,friends.We cry for souls and we ask you that you may use us as effective witnesses.We praise your Holy name

This we pray knowing that our prayers are heard and answered when we ask in Jesus’s mighty name

Thought 1:In this world of” Survival of the fittest “competetion and selfishness,righteousness seems to be a forgotten word. Righteousness is the state of being RIGHT with God,walking uprightly and with a good conscience which is reflected by your deeds.

Isaiah says ”all our righteous acts are like filthy rags”.The Scripture talks about many righteous people.God looks for righteous people.Being Righteous is not being religious.

The Master in the sermon on the mount says,Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,who wont compromise on being unrighteous but will go to any extent even to sacrifice many things to be righteous,to live a righteous life.

Thought 2:The reward is satisfaction.They Will be filled said the Lord.A satisfaction beyond measure.Many a times we feel that we cannot make it.Cheer up christian traveler.The Bible says the Lord Jesus became our righteousness as He hung on that cross and rose again.When you long for righteousness,you long for the Lord.You long for Him in your walking,sleeping,daily living.When we long for Him,His righteousness become ours and we will be filled with the presence of the Lord.

Introspection

1)Have you ever thought about what being righteous is?How much God values righteousness

2)Have you ever realized that the greatest inheritance you can leave for your children is living a righteous life and devil is constantly working for you to become unrighteous

Application

1)Learn from the bible whose lives are termed as “righteous”

2)Memorize the following verse

Psalm 37:25 I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread

The month of May saw great calamities and inhuman activities around us. An earthquake in China buried thousands of innocent children, the Nargis

Wiping out around 2 lakh in Myanmar, the Arushi murder in Noida,the brutal murder of a leading producer by a passionate young man, the jaipur blasts. These are just some of the news which made headlines. Child of God am writing this to tell you that ,the world is becoming dangerous and more evil, times are just getting worse but the good news is our Lord’s coming is so so near!!Hallelujah.

Pray Until Something Happens(P.U.S.H) is a well known acronym which we seldom practice;-)We all pray,but praying aiming at an issue and persisting it till we get,yes we need to wrestle in prayer.Let me take you through the 1 Samuel 1,2 where we see a great example of P.U.S.H

1)In P.U.S.H pattern your body,soul and mind are involved….Many of us pray as routine,which may involve some lip movement,sometimes we pray very casually when nothing is involved,P.U.S.H characterizes your whole being involved.

See this chapter v10

In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the LORD. 11 And she made a vow, saying, "O LORD Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head."

12 As she kept on praying to the LORD, Eli observed her mouth. 13 Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard

15 "Not so, my lord," Hannah replied, "I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD

What an example of prayer.Her body was involved when her tear glands secreted the tears.We see she wept much.Weeping for a purpose,weeping so much for an answer from God,for the family to be saved,for the disease to be healed.for our nation.I wish I could preach this directly..Weeping much in God’s presence

Her heart was involved when we see that she made a vow.Prayer with vow works out many a time.You tell the Lord what will you do with the blessing He gives you.Vows made from the heart in prayer can produce great results.in v13 we read,Hannah was praying in her heart!!Hallelujah..Pray in your heart…let your heart be a place where you consecrate the Lord your God,may it be the place where unwanted lustful relationships be wiped off and God taking His place.May all hurts go,but Let His presence dwell.The answer you need from desperately must first be formed in your heart!!Hallelujah

Her soul was involved,we read in v 15 I was pouring out my soul to the Lord.Child of God,pour out your soul.Pray until something happens.Do not give up till souls are saved,do not give up till God removes that unwanted addiction from your life.Do not give …Pray until something happens.

Another characteristic of P.U.S.H pattern is after you pray a change happens inside of you that it will be reflected on your face,Hallelujah.See v18 and we read that Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast.

Child of God may this pattern of prayer be our aim this month.Let your body,soul and heart get involved together in prayer.Expect great things from God.Attempt great things for God.

Father,we pray for thy blessing on us this month.We pray that there will be a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our lives.We need you so so much o Lord.Come sweep our lives and homes with your presence.Let the Liberating nature of the Spirit be at work in our lives.We pray for souls,that many will be added to the church.We ask you for this nation,we ask you for our family..Have your way.We open our hearts and hands to you.Heal every soul and body and mind.Restore all that thy children lost.Make new ways and open closed doors.Help us live every hour by your power,in holiness,righteousness and integrity.

We love you.This we pray in Jesus Mighty name

Thought 1:The Lord continuing His beautitudes goes on with whom the Heavens consider Blessed.Here the Lord describes the condition inward.Meekness!!In this present world of competition and “survival of fittest”,the word of God says Blessed are the meek.Those who are meek are considered weak,but its essentially a character that exhibits your “maturity”.

Meekness is exhibited when you are silent,still when oppositions rise against you.Deep inside your heart you know, injustice is prevailing but you face that with a calmness in your heart and confidence in the Lord.Only Confidence in God can make you meek. Lets not speak too much, lets be listeners. Deal every situation with confidence. Christ in the world described his condition as meek.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls(mat 11).

Take time to learn of Christ,the great meekness he showed in sacrificing heavens chosing to be obedient even unto the death on a cross, Take time to learn of Him, how He dealt His adversaries with the statement”father forgive them”.

Thought 2:The Bible clearly says, those who are meek are blessed and they will inherit the earth.Its not by power you inherit.Its the power inside your heart that enables you to inherit all that God has for you.Inheritence,think about that.

The earth and its fullness belongs to God.You inherit the earth,the place you work,the place you stay,when you have meekness,because God’s hand of blessing is on you.

Introspection

1)Have you cultivated the attitude of being meek?

2)what is your attitude when people speak ill of you and despise you

Application

1)Learn from the life of Christ on what is meekness

2)The Bible says in Numbers 12:3 Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth. Learn this chapter fully, see the secrets on WHY GOD chose Moses.Cultivate the habit of meekness and be blessed.

Elijah makes a sudden entry into the Bible. He stands before the cruel king of Israel,Ahab and using His authority declares that there would be no rain for 3and half years in Israel. He was bold. See Elijah alone in mount carmel bringing down fire that proved to all who gathered that Yahweh is God. Very shortly we see the same Elijah experiencing a “Spiritual Low”. He was intimidated by evil Jezebel. He could not carry on further. He left His servant and came and took shelter under a broom tree. Elijah who lifted God in Mount Carmel was not put down by God in the wilderness .His angel provided the food of strong men.

Jacob at Peniel,fearful of the next day. Guilty in facing his brother,sent all what he had ahead of himself. Standing all alone in the stillness of night. God who appeared to Jacob did not put Him down. Jacob wrestled with God in Peniel.Persisted in asking for a blessing. Spiritual lows are linked to physical situations, but God who called you, revealed Himself to you will never ever fail you .God of Bethel is the God of Peniel. In Bethel it was a vision, but in Peniel it was direct encounter.

See our blessed Lord overwhelmed in the Soul.He says to the inner circle.”My soul is sorrowful unto death watch and pray with me” .He requests the father, to take away the cup from him .In one moment because of the Spiritual low,the prince of glory forgot the whole purpose for which He came into the earth. The burden of drinking the cup.

Heavens did not forsake Him there. The angel of God appeared to Him and strengthened Him.

Child of God,called by His name….sent to earth for a purpose. do not give up, He is the God of your lowtimes too.

Are u facing a low time.Fearful,intimidated,anxious?God is by your side. Get upbeat for the journey is long for you;-))

Matthew 5:4Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Thought 1:The second of the beautitudes,our Lord says something very strange. Blessed are those who mourn.How did He relate Blessing and weeping?CAN WE EVER IMAGINE how blessing and weeping will go together,when most of the modern day preachers promise”bed of roses” as a sign for blessing?Now mourning comes from earth,where as comfort comes from Heaven.The comfort from heaven exceeds and is so satisfying compared to the hurts in the world and because of the Heavenly comfort we receive,the Lord says we are blessed.Are you burdened by hurts and worries.Open your heart to heaven and believe me,you will be comforted and that will bring a smile back to your face

Thought 2:Now situations that we face has necessarily a doorway to receive Heavenly comfort.St paul adds this in 2 cor 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

Comfort comes from God and we need to open up.Remember when Hagar cried,God opened a way,when Israelites moarned in their slavery God raised up Moses,When Hannah cried,God raised Samuel.God values your tears and those are precious seeds to receive heavenly comfort and also a supernatural blessing.

Introspection

1)What is your response when something that hurts happen to you?Do you cry in front of God’s presence or do you grumble or complain

2)Have you ever realized that God values your tears?

Application

1)When hurt or disturbed take time to sit at his feet,receive His comfort,take control over the situation.

2)Take time to comfort others who are encountering the same situation you are facing.His comfort is for you to comfort others.Understand you are blessed because God values your tears.

Dearest in Lord,

Greetings in His precious name.God's grace enabled us to see another month and now we are into the tenth month of 2007.A path we have not gone before,new challenges demand new grace.I do not know what circumstance you are in now but by His word may I Speak peace and blessings on you.May He open new doors,may He show Himself mighty on your behalf.Remember the battle is the Lords!!

The parable of the "prodigal son " is known by all of us.We see a young lad asking for his inheritence from His father and travelling to a distant country.He ends up losing every possession he had.We read a narrative of what happened in luke 15:11-32

We read in v17,"when he came to Himself........................"CHild of God many a time we lose a sight of who we are and thats the cause of all worries and problems we face.Losing sight of who we are and who our Father is opens up our mind to the devil so that he can play with it.When He came to himselfhe realized 3 things

1)THE ABUNDANCE IN HIS FATHER'S HOUSE

v17 says "How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare,and I perish with hunger".Knowledge of who our father is and the abundance has gives us room for no worry.Child of God ,We have a father who is the treasure of knowledge and wisdom.He is the giver of all good.He is our good shepherd,He feeds the small sparrows.He is mindful of you.So when you are "out of yourself",make a comeback ,see the abundance in your father's house.He will supply all our needs'We have a father who knows what we need before we ask Him or before even the need arises,He ordains the supply

2)THE BEAUTY OF HIS FATHER'S HEART

This son did what He thought.He said"I will arise and go to my father,and will say to Him,"Father I have sinned against heaven and before you".v(20)"And he arose and came to His father,But when he was still a great way off,his father saw Him and had compassion."As the son was on His way back home,he did not encounter a closed door.I imagine from the time he left home,there was a father who started waiting for His son."Though the son forgot who who he was,the father never forgot His child.Dear reader,this son perceived the heart beat of His father.We read the father had compassion,not a revengeful heart,but a compassionate one.When you also come to yourself and make your way to the prayer room and call Him Father,He comes where you are with a heart of compassion.Do you perceive the beat of your father's heart>???

3)THE COMFORT IN HIS FATHER'S HANDS

He also experienced a different reception.the father ran towards him, and flunged his hands to him and emrbrassed and Kissed Him.He asked His servants to clothe His son with best best robe,wear the ring on his finger,and sandals on his feet.One moment tired by the world,next moment experiencing the comfort in His father's hands.CHild of God,are you weary living in the wilderness,carrying a load of burden??Are you weak and heavy laden"COme back to your self,think about the abundance in your father's house,see the beauty of his heart and expereince the comfort from His hands.

May He hold you now,that victorious hand,the nail pierced hand let it hold you tight so that you will be engulfed in divine love.Hallelujah..take some time..COME BACK TO YOUR SELF..VICTORY IS YOURS!!!!

”Every breath that I take,every moment am awake,Lord have your way in me”.We often sing without knowing the meaning;-)This month I am prompted to write about

HAVING GOD’S WAY IN OUR LIVES…EVERY MOMENT!!!

1)Realize your time

Understanding that OUR TIMES are in His hands.

Psalm 31:15..Our times are in thy hands.

Psalm 139:16:All days ordained for me were written in your book

Child of God,every moment we get is a gift from God and we need to use it for Him.He wanted us to live in this moment and here we are.your days are ordained by God.The Psalmist says”This is the day that the Lord has made,lets rejoice and be glad”.

We have the right to rejoice because it’s the Lord who makes the day!!We need to realize that God has kept us alive at this moment of time for a specific purpose and we need to realize and act.

Mordecai says to esther

And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?"

2)Control your time

Overcoming the enemy’s control over your time

King Solomon says in Proverbs 5:9

lest you give your best strength to others and your years to one who is cruel
The evil one wants to steal your time,by bringing in anxious thoughts,fear inside and hopelessness.We need to discern that and pray like how our Lord asked us to pray

“lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one”…

Our Lord said”Seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness”.

St Paul says”DO not be anxious about anything”The Lord does not want any of us to live in fear or bondage.Lets make it a point to filter our thoughts and give no room for the devil.Lets not behave as ungodly,but lets put on Christ always.

3)REDEEM YOUR TIME(eph 5:16)

Redeeming your time….for the days are evil.

We need to use our time,make use of every opportunity,If needed by paying the price;-))

Let me tell somethings that the bible asks us to do

1)Bless the Lord at all times(ps 34:1)

2)Trust the Lord at all times(Ps 62:8)

3)Pray at all times(Luke 18:1)

4)Rejoice at all times(phil 4.4)

Now I rely on the Spirit of God that He may take control of you and enable the seed of His word to grow in your hearts.Lets not give our time to the evil one.Every moment we are awake..”Lord have your way in me”.Let that be our prayer,our hearts cry….

Father we pray for your divine guidance to use our times properly.We do not want to give even a moment to the cruel devil.Father,lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one because you are strong,when we are weak.Help us to sing those lines very truly.Every moment am awake Lord have your way in me!!If at all any one reading this is sick,discouraged,weary,Lord send thy word and heal them.Bless us this month.This we pray in Jesus;s mighty name

Abraham was given a promise.It was a descendantal promise.Your generations will be so numerous like the stars in the sky and sand in the sea shore.

Abraham obeyed the call of God,but waited for the promise for a long time.He turned 100,till He saw the promise.When your body fails you,when circumstances fail you,don’t foget HE who called you is faithful. His promises are true and He will never fail.The Bible says that Abraham hoped against Hope believing in what was said by the almighty God. Believe in Him.His promises contradicts facts and theories.

We just need to HOPE.Abraham was not only the father of faith,but also a man of Hope.

Blameless and upright he feared God and shunned evil.also He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.But this man was not exempted from the fiery test which every one faces in life.A situation which comes so that you will question God and curse and blame Him.He suddenly encountered a series of losses in His life.Lost wealth,health,shattered hopeless the Innocent Job remained.But He did not let go of one thing.Hope,a hope about what His redeemer can do.In His words He says

Oh, that my words were recorded, that they were written on a scroll, that they were inscribed with an iron tool on [b] lead, or engraved in rock forever! I know that my Redeemer [c] lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth. [d] And after my skin has been destroyed, yet [e] in [f] my flesh I will see God; I myself will see him with my own eyes—I, and not another

The bible goes on to say” the LORD made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before”

This man was in the pool of Bethesda.38 years in the same place in the same condition.He hoped that someone would help him to get in the pool.He never gave up His hope.He used to always keep his eyes focused on the waters,though he could nt get ther,The hope was so strong that the master came to the poolside and changed His situation.He started to walk with his bed in his hand.Hope changes circumstances.

Dear friend,you may be facing disappointing,discouraging circomstances but let not hope disappear for my book of Hope says in

Proverbs 18:23” There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.

Jeremiah 29:11; For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future

Ashes-Catch up with your Vision!!

In Exodus 24 we read of Moses and some elders of Israel being called by God to meet Him. A divine appointment!!Do not forget the times when our Spirit is heavy, the hearts are troubled and longing for God, it’s all a sign of divine appointment!!

We read that they saw a glimpse of God after which the elders “sat to eat and drink” but Moses continued to be in His presence.

The vision we catch up with will be revealed in our acts.

The extent to which we acknowledge God, the way in which we “take Him for granted”, all reveals what is the vision we have of God.

Moses carried the presence of God so much that it was revealed in His face, but the elders like abihu “sat to eat and drink”.

Moses sat in God’s presence for 40 days and 40 nights. I can’t imagine of such a situation in our “modern busy world”. Forget 40 days, what about one day, just sitting in His presence, hearing His word??Forgetting everything else??

A Moses with a correct VISION will have good discretion and direction, but distorted vision of the “elders” caused Division and destruction.

Let’s see Martha and Mary. Jesus their friend and Lord was in their House, but their responses were different. The extent to which both saw the Lord was different. Martha was too busy in “activities”. She just then lost sight and grumbled to the Lord. She was anxious. Many a time we fall in anxious heavy situations because of a wrong vision or a distorted vision of the Lord. Mary knew that no one else will get this UNIQUE opportunity. Out of all the other families, Jesus visited them. She just wanted to sit at His blessed Feet and the Lord commended Mary’s attitude that IT SHALL NOT BE TAKEN AWAY FROM HER. Vision of Mary and Martha was different, the extent to which they saw and knew the Lord was different and we read the difference in the peace and power they possessed.

Two criminals were hanged on the either side of the Cross of Christ. One started reviling Him and questioning His credentials. He said “If you are Christ Save yourself and us”. The other man looked straight to TEAR STAINED EYES of Jesus and said “Lord when you come in your kingdom remember me, We suffer for what we have done”. The difference in vision made a huge difference to their destiny.

One doubted and questioned, the other confessed and believed. Child of God, what is the vision you have of your GOD.Is it corrupted,dim,distorted??or is it becoming more clear to you??

Ask Him to reveal more of Him to you. The Hymn writer sings “be thou my vision o Lord of my heart

Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:

A new financial year has dawned and corporates and individuals are finalizing new plans for the

same. We should also be on constant check of our Spiritual situation which is so much important.

May i share some insights on this.

1)THE KINGDOM INVESTMENT PLAN

We all make financial investments that will fetch a higher value after a particular span of time.

We first make sure of which plan we join and what returns it gives.

Child of God, the Lord desires your heart. That’s the greatest investment you can make in your life.

Returns are guaranteed in on a day to day basis with an eternal point of view

When your heart is His, your life becomes meaningful.

Sowing in the Spirit is Important and Jesus rightly said “Where your treasures are there your heart will be".

Have you got treasures in Heaven??Is your heart fixed on heavens where your treasure adds up

when you proclaim the gospel, be insulted for His name's sake.

Many of us have a wrong notion, that Heaven is a bank...Kingdom of God essentially is based on love

Whatever you do in love will be rewarded. Whatever done in an evil, selfish motive will bring disaster.

May our hearts be opened to the Almighty God. May our hearts be driven by a passion for Him.

As we in Love, sow seed in the ministry, the church where we belong and the fellowships we attend

The poor and needy amongst us, be assured of heavenly returns. YES MAKE A PLAN of using your tithes,

make a plan for monetary investments and prayer and whole hearted labor in to where the Lord leads you.

2)The Systematic Savings plan

Its from our savings that we invest. The bible in proverbs quotes from the tiny creatures the ants,

they gather food in favorable time and they store for the season where they cannot work.

Children of God, the daily mercies and grace we receive should be stored. The promises, the seeds of new vision

and dreams should not be written of, but in Habakkuk we read, WRITE THE VISION.

When God is near, sit at His feet like Mary. Martha was distracted by the multitude of activities.

The church today sadly represents a SAD,ANXIOUS,WORRIED Martha. We are so full of activities that

we forget to sit at His blessed feet. Remember what the Lord said “Mary has chosen the right portion

and this shall not be taken away from her. Times of reading and feeding on the blessed word, fasting and praying is never in vain.

It all adds to your savings.

3)Reduce the EXPENSES

Reduction of unwanted expenses should be taken care off.Spiritually speaking,we should be aware not to

give our times to the hands of the devil.Many a time the devil steals our joy by sowing in doubts,worries,

fears.Lets not give in to the devil.The Bible clearly says"DO not give the devil a foothold".

"resist the devil(and His tricks) and he will flee from you.

maintain sanctity in relationships and lifestyle.God is a God of grace and He is calling us this month to

draw close to Him.Do His work and proclaim His word.Have an attitude of worship that surrenders our life

to do His blessed will.

4)Invite the audit of the Holy Ghost

The Spirit shall guide us unto all truth. He will give us strength. may we ask Him to fill us and lead us

He is the best auditer.Like psalmist cried lets pray “Search me and know my heart. see if there is anything wicked in meand lead me in the path everlasting"

Pray that prayer sincerely this month. May the Lord prosper all of us spiritually and when

that happens I believe "all the other things (which are needed for us) will be added unto us.

Psalm 51:11:Do not cast me away from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me

Thought 1:David after an adulterous act does his confession in this psalm. The guilt was heavy. He was so longing for the presence of God. The first part of this prayerful verse says “DO NOT CAST ME AWAY FROM YOUR PRESENCE”. His presence is so important in our lives. For understanding the power of this prayer we need to first recognize the importance of His presence. The great awesome presence of God transformed Jacob in Bethel, the powerful presence of God broke Moses in the burning bush experience. His presence made the difference. They could then approach God because of their “first encounters”. Christ came into this world to open a new and living way to the presence of the ALMIGHTY GOD!!

Thought 2:David also senses the need of the Holy Spirit in his filthy flesh. Flesh and Spirit are contrary to one another. Flesh is from beneath, Spirit is from above. Once flesh controls your soul, your thoughts will be earthly, the unholy passions become your dreams. You live in the flesh, your destiny is Hell. David understood the need for the Holy Spirit in his life and cried. The Holy Spirit can empower the sinful flesh to a destiny to heaven. Once the Holy Spirit controls our soul, we long for things upward. Many a time we see the dominance of “flesh” inside us, thus the Lord said to the weak disciples. Tarry in Jerusalem till you are clothed with power from ABOVE.O How we need the Spirit of God in all fullness. Thus Paul says.”DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT”??

Introspection

1)Are you away from His presence??Do you feel His closeness in your Spirit??

2)Are you avoiding the gentle whisper of the Holy Ghost and living under the shout of your flesh??

Application

1)enter the presence of God.Draw near to Him and He promises to draw near to you.Enter through the new and loving way Christ opened in His flesh!!Approach the royal throne by the power of the blood of Jesus

2)Embrace the power of the Spirit in your lives.Allow the Holy Spirit to control your flesh.Open up to Him.Throw away the garbage.Sing songs of surrender like 1)Just as I am without one plea 2)Create in me a clean heart with all dedication.

Elijah after the Carmel Victory climbed to the top of Carmel for another mission, the reason being to bring rains on the land. He said to Ahab” Go eat and rest for I hear the sound of a great rain”.Rains??israel didn’t have any of them for the past three and half years, but the man of God realized that. He heard what no one else could hear. He heard the sound of great showers. He was not satisfied with the sound. He climbed to the top of the mountain to see what He heard. Child of God, we need to perceive many things in the divine realm. He was determined to bring down what He heard. We read that He placed His head between the knees on the top of the mountain and asked the servant to go 7 times to see whether he saw something. Yes Prayer brings down the answer. Prayer in forehearing

Daniel on hearing that an edict has been passed in the land about worship. He prayed and gave thanks as usual, by opening His windows towards Jerusalem.The emperor had to put him in the lions den.The lion was powerless,the angel of God shut the mouth of the lions. Invisible agents of God controlled the visible forces of danger.Prayer extinguishes the fury of circumstances.You might be fearing an edict,in midst of dangerous circumstances, let me tell you its tinme to taste the sweetness of God in midst of those bitter circumstances by prayer. Look at our Lord in the garden of gethsamane,foreseeing His death. He went on to a stone and cried loudly “Father, if its your will, remove this cup away from me, yet its not my will, let your will be done”.Foreseeing the cross led Him to His knees,while his favorite disciples were still snoring.We all know what happened,after His blood vessels in His sweat glands ruptured, his sweat fell as drops of blood,and there appeared an Angel to strengthen Him.

Prayer strengthens you for the future. Prayer in foreseeing!!

Child of God,I wish we would forehear ,forebear and foresee the circumstances. Remember the role of prayer.

Lord of losses and lifelessness

God in His mercy gave us opportunity to step into a new month.Not because there were lack of accidents or lack of diseases,it’s the sheer mercy of God that we are alive.many a time we encounter losses and it really deprives our joy,peace and happiness.In the bible we see some instances where the knowledge about the location of losses enables God to do great things.Let me reind you He is Lord over all your circustances.Let me point out some.

1)2Kings 6.

6 The man of God asked, "Where did it fall?" When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float. 7 "Lift it out," he said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it.

The prophets wanted to have an enlarged area to camp. The place they were in were congested and they wanted an expansion. Child of God are you in a congested environment, do you long for an enlargement of borders…???God can do that for you, you just need to understand and call on His name. He is a God who will enlarge your borders(1 Chro 4.10).Now they went cutting down the trees and alas!!the “borrowed” axe head fell into Jordan.The iron because of its weight, sunk down. Many a time we have losses. Losses lead to tensed situations and its at these times that we need the guidance of the master!!!Elisha asked the man “Where did it fall”…Child of God” where did the relation fail you”. where did you finance, health fall..???Show Him the place.. He cut a stick, which represents the cross. The cross can bring up lost relationships, it can bring up lost health. The power of the cross transcends all understanding. Let God do a great work in you, by the power of His cross.Just show Him the place.Let Him work through the cross

34"Where have you laid him?"

Lazarus was the friend of Jesus,now the world was sending remarks,Jesus healed the sick but bever responded to His friend.When you give up hope,Jesus never gives up.He keeps knocking at your door,show me the place where you have buried your hope,where you have given up.Show it to Him.He is faithful to bring back your “lazarus’s” back to life..Just take Him to that place.Dont give up hope on God.Hope in God.Abraham hoped against hope and He was called the friend of God.The Lord Jesus will never ever fail you..Hope in Him..Let not your hope be cut off in lifeless situations!!He is able

15"Woman," he said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?"
Thinking he was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him

This passage is very familiar to all of us,Mary Magdalene running early in the morning to the tomb of Jesus,she was searching for Jesus.Now when we take God to our places of losses and lifelessness,we should take time to look for Jesus and His presence in our everyday lives.Mary was asking unknowingly to Jesus”Where have you put Him”

Child of God,the question to you from the Spirit of God is”Where have you put Him”???What is His place in your life….Have an earnest check.Where is the Lord Jesus in your life

When you face Losses,lifeless situations look for Jesus,Hope in Him.This month am prompted specially to pray for all who have some financial,relational losses…Lets pray together in one accord

Father in heaven,we love you so much and give thee our praise,thanks for giving us a personal relationship with thee.Lord God I specially pray for all who are facing financial losses.restore what they have lost because they are hoping in thee,hoping against hope for a great breakthrough.We ask thee without even a spot of doubt in faith..Some of us have lost relationships..lifeless situations,where we gave up hope.Father breathe life into those lifeless situations..Heal and restore…bless and use thy children,Thy coming is so near..Help us to run the race with zeal and passion.We pray for all whom we ought to pray for.Help us to obey thy commands and live a life pleasing to thy name.

Respond with Realization!!

God expects us to grow in His knowledge and also growing up in maturity of who you are and how you take charge over situations. This month God reminds us to take authority. The key verse is Matthew 28:18 "All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given unto me". The most familiar response when faced with a problem is, crying to Him and calling on His blessed name. The bible teaches us that God expects us to come out of that level into an authoritative level of growth. Let me explain that to you by these instances

1. Israelites in front of the Red sea. They saw a closed path, with the

large Egyptian army chasing them. They cried out to the Lord. Moses then gave a word of promise to them.

Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.” Exodus 14:13 The next verse we read about Moses turning on to the Lord. He said words of encouragement to the people, but deep inside he was crying out to the LORD.

And the Lord said ”WHY DO YOU CRY UNTO ME, ASK THE ISRAELITES TO MOVE FORWARD, Stretch your rod over the sea”.

Exodus 14:15 God expected Moses to take control and move forward. He wanted Moses to take charge by stretching the rod rather than crying with unbelief.

2. The wedding at Cana ran short of wine. Jesus and His disciples were

invited for the wedding. Mary, the mother of Jesus, knew this and told this to the Lord. The Lord said” Woman, why do you involve me?” John 2:4. He just meant that, as long as He was there, there was no need of panicking and commotion, which appears to be the usual resort. In fact the Lord wanted Mary to understand that as far as the Lord was there, there is no need for a panic and He can do things without you crying to Him. In other words, He will be pleased if you are still and smiling and at peace because of your knowledge of the Lord, who is in control.

3. The disciples encountered a storm in the sea. It was the Lord Jesus who

initiated this journey telling,” Let us go to the other side”, but suddenly there arose a storm and there was panic all around, but the Lord was sleeping. The disciples cried and called on the Lord telling, ”Master don’t you care that we perish?” Mark 4:38. It was like a 21-day fasting prayer we have in response to something bad that has happened. By this mail am not telling anything against fasting. Lets cultivate that attitude of trust. The Master awoke and asked them” Where is your faith??”

When adverse situations strike us, the Lord expects a response of quietness, calmness, trust and faith. He doesn’t want you to take a step backward but He wants to you to stretch that rod in your hand, yes, its there in your hand. He has equipped you. He has opened your eyes to see the exceeding power of His might, working on your behalf. Hallelujah!!! What do you think?

Will the Lord remain silent when the Egyptians pursue you? Will the Lord remain silent when there is a shortage in your life? Will the Lord cause you to perish in a journey He has started!!! NO, NO NO! HE will never ever fail you. He just wants you to be so mature enough to understand that HE IS IN CONTROL, HE WILL FIGHT, HE WILL LEAD AND HE WILL PROVIDE. Yes His presence should dispel our fears and give us peace!!

This month lets grow in Him and respond to the situations we come across in Life with confidence and peace. Remember He has equipped you. You got the power and the authority. Grow in fellowship with Him, talk to Him, and walk with Him. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight!!

Lets pray

Heavenly Father, we thank thee for this month of February you have granted unto us in thy mercy. We invite you Lord into our lives, marriages, homes and hearts and jobs. Master when thou art there, we needn’t be terrified or worried, we needn’t be perplexed. Lord, help us to understand the power we have, the power to bind the forces of the evil devil and his kingdom, the power of using thy Holy and powerful name, the power to trample upon snakes and scorpions and upon all powers of the evil one, the power to pray and take victory, peace to remain calm and your presence that takes over our life! Lord we speak healing and deliverance to those in bondage, release all who are in fear and in confusion. Set thy children free O God. Help us to grow in thee. We pray for our land, our government, our offices, colleagues and workplaces. We pray for our parents and loved ones. Grant them long life and keep them safe and happy. Be more close to us, so close like never before. We love you and give you our praise, for we know you have answered our prayers, because you hear it when we pray in Jesus’ mighty name

Exodus 15:1,20:Oh sing unto the Lord a new song, for He is Highly exalted, for the horse and the rider He has been hurled into the sea.

Thought 1:Miriam the sister of Moses, sang this song with a with tambourines and dancing. Many a time, new situations come in our life. in the life of Isarelites,in Egypt their problem was their task masters who dealt with them ruthlessly, they cried out to the Lord and God delivered them with an outstretched arm. Here in front of the Red Sea they encountered a new horrible situation, they were chased from behind by Pharaoh and his chariots, they were riding hard to take the people of God back to captivity, Child of God let me tell you a truth, the enemy will come down hard at you, driving fast chariots, on seeing them itself we like the Israelites will feel confused and scared, remember one thing, the Lord who called you out of Egypt, who rescued you by the blood of the lamb wont give your life into the enemy’s hand. Whenever a new situation arises, understand its time to sing a NEW SONG for the enemy is not going to be exalted, but it will the Lord who will be exalted ,it will the Lord who will triumph.MIRIAM SAW THE LORD HIGLY EXALTED.I pray that our eyes will see the Lord High and exalted! hallelujah

Thought 2:Miriam saw the horse and the rider, horse symbolizes the fast moving circumstances and situations in our life. If you look carefully, there will also be a rider on the horse, which means devil has his agents in different circumstances that we face. It may be a horse of sickness, horse of poverty, horse of hurt, horse of hunger, horse of Pride, horse of addiction, horse of pornography,horce of riches and so forth Through all these horses, the rider wants to take you “BACK TO EGYPT”. The Lord said “Moses, don’t cry to me, its time to stretch your rod over the blocked RED SEA”…When Moses stretched the rod, the Lord sent an east wind and we see God ordaining a great escape for His people. Victory is yours, you got the resources, and you got the rod, stretch it rather than panicking. You will see the horse and the rider being hurled into the sea;-))You wont be taken back by the devil. See what is in your hand, apply it with faith and the horse and the rider ,God will take care. You just need to move forward.

God is more eager to bless you, before even you ask Him, God saw that It was not good for man to be lonely and He made a partner for Him.

He knows your loneliness ,He knows who your partner is and it is He who brought eve to Adam. Here Adam did not pray or complain about His feelings. God knew that because of the fellowship they enjoyed.

When we have fellowship with Him, He knows exactly what your need is, He works behind the scenes and then brings the need of your heart in front of you, even if you don’t ask. This is what I enjoyed when He brought Sheba into my life. When Pastor Valson Abraham asked me to look straight into the eyes of Sheba and exchange the vow, I understood the sweetness, seriousness as well as the sacredness of the marriage bond.

Decked herself in a simple, modest yet beautiful, gracious and beautiful manner, with the sounds of “Here comes the bride”, echoing in the background, I could see the Lord bringing the partner He chose for my life.

Not once did I dream about this moment, yet He thought it, He made it so beautiful. The echoing messages of His servants Rev Billy Graham,Pr K.C.Thomas,Rev Andrew Prakasam and Dr Valson Abraham really gave a taste of God’s word to the whole assembly gathered. I could sense literally when the word was spoken, the source of the word was there, moving across, stirring my heart, holding my Hands.

Rev Valson held my hand to Sheba’s and led us in exchange of oaths and a solemn prayer, what a moment it was where I could feel my heart knitting with Sheba’s. That’s what happens in His presence.2 individuals walk out of the families they belong and become one. One heart beat, One mind, One Spirit,One FATHER over all. Heart kept on thanking God for the lovely parents God have both of us who brought us up in the fear of the Lord and I could see tears of joy in their eyes. Their “mission accomplished” regarding us. Right from the moment we both “were sent into the world”, they saw us, took care of us in every manner, gave us everything needed even beyond their resources. Tears of fulfillment is difficult to comprehend but I could see that in their eyes. I also imagine,our father in heaven along with the multitude of heavenly hosts ,gave them opportunity to see this great moment. The Lord rewards us with His gifts,time and opportunity and He will be happy when we give it back to Him. Our siblings along with friends and relatives along with the numerous angelic hosts couldn’t contain their joy.Truely He has made all things beautiful.

We have started a new journey, a journey together, believing in the promises,provision,protection and presence of the God of our fathers. Yes do pray for us!!!

Dearest in the Lord,

Yet another year is coming to an end and time just flew bringing us to the December of 2007.This season brings families together,gifts,cards and there is a festive atmosphere around the world,how I wish that we all would come closer to Him!!. Child of God, God just doesn’t want us to be Season oriented. He wants people of consistence and who are diligent. The shepherds were told of the birth of Jesus because when all the world was sleeping, they were diligent about the times and God visited them. My text for this month is chosen from Luke 2:8-20.

The passage talks about the angel of the lord appearing to these shepherds and we notice the transition happening to these shepherds. The Lord reminded me also to have these in our lives

1) From Fear to Praise

The angel of the Lord appeared to them and they were afraid. The angel pronounced Fear Not and we read later that the shepherds went praising an glorifying God.I can sense in my Spirit, that there are some of you who are afraid ,fearing how your future will be and what if you continue the same way..i wish if you hear those shepherds who were afraid chanting “Glory to God,Praise ye the Lord”//

The child in the manger just caused them to glorify God.Jesus in your heart can cause your heart to flow with ceaseless Praise.To aid you in the Praise process,God has sent us His Holy Ghost.He has not given us a Spirit of Fear,but of adoption crying “abba father”.

2)From glimpse of God’s glory to the glance of God

These shepherds were covered by God’s glory as the angel spoke to them.They were not satisfied with that.We read that “the shepherds were saying to one another”Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this..”They were hasty,they didn’t postpone the time with God ..they said.”lets go now”.they were not satisfied with the glory or His word..They wanted to see this.When the word is coming to you,do not postpone it..Go now and pray..Do not postpone..Let not the glimpse of His glory satisy us,we need to see Him.Seek Him..and you will experience Joy Unspeakable.

3)From Experiencing to Witnessing

They experienced the glory of God,the word regarding the new born Child and we read in v17 that they made WIDELY KNOWN the saying which was told them concerning the Child.

Are we just people who want God to do something for us and be shameful in telling the gospel??are we making it WIDELY KNOWN that Jesus is the son of God and we are eye-witnesses of His majesty??Let our lives be a witnessing life.This season we have many opportunities to tell about the Lord,lets use it to the fullest.lets make the GOSPEL widely known

May I request you to bow ur heads in reverence wherever you are,thank Him from the bottom of your heart for His word,His Son and the communion of the Holy Spirit.Take care of your spiritual life.Do not neglect it.God has placed you in this world.Lets move on from Fear to praise,from glmpse of His glory to see His son,from just experiencing God to witnessing Him.

Our Father in heaven,we thank thee for the last month of 2007 and you have been with us,its not because of the lack of accidents or turmoils that we are praising you,but its because of your great grace and mercy.Father,we pray that like those shepherds we will understand to be diligent and vigilant,from seeing the glimpse of your glory to see you,from an experiencing life to witnessing one.Fill us with thy Spirit.Cleanse our hearts and make us devoted to thee.Protect our parents and friends.We pray for those who are afraid,fearful,weary.Those who are sick,heal them all….As we stand in the last hours of the last days,help us to prepare ourselves for thy coming.Let none of us be left out.help us to discern your will and not by customs and traditions.Grant us a pure clean heart filled with love and humility.make us more like thee

We bless your Holy name.

The doctor was telling simple steps like a brisk morning walk,jogging,improving the posture,exercises.I ,along with most of them present there must have undoubtedly heard this from our parents, friends etc.But when the doctor says, the extent of practicing the same goes to a HIT. Today I looked at many of them who attended yesterday’s meeting. they were all doing something what was said like the “neck rotation”, sitting properly, standing for a while. The truth what I wanted to make here is we implement or believe something depending on the source of information. When a doctor tells us to do something,we blindly do it because we know He is specialized in that, Now the word of God is living, it contains many promises, warnings and everything needed to live the right way. We often neglect those and believe the circumstances and situations. God who is specialized in our life says” Do not worry” but we cant help but to worry. God says “wait on me and put on strength” while we are in a hurry. He promises healing ,health and great future. The word of God says also mentions many “DO NOT’s” while we end up “doing” most. Believe and live God’s word. believe the source and live it. GOD Is “YOU” Specialist;-))

“For I know the plans I have for you, plans not to harm you but to give you and hope and a future”(Jer 29:11)

Jacob was all alone as he slept in Luz because the sun had set.Lonely,fearful,anxious like many of us. He was a runaway kid. he had to do so to escape from his brother,Esau.He had just one good thing here, the father’s blessing. He slept on one of the stones there. He dreamt like never before,He saw the God of His fathers in the dream and a ladder that had angels descending and ascending. From the top the Lord spoke..many promises. The Lord said one more thing”I will not leave you until I fulfill all what I spoke to you”. Child of God remember, He is committed to fulfill what He has promised you.! He who called you is faithful,he will do it. The point I want to make here is God shows up in the place where you do not expect Him to be.jacob woke from his sleep and said “Truly this place is awesome”>he renamed Luz to bethel.

Moses was completely out of place. He was skilled in Egyptian warfare and had many “talents” and now He is grazing sheep of his father in law in Midian.Like Jacob, completely “out of place” He even named his son “Gershom” meaning” iam a stranger in an alien land”. He “accidentally” came to the mountain of God. He saw a great sight n the most unexpected place.He suddenly was standing on “HOLY GROUND”. Dear friend,God shows up when you give up. He will never forsake you. He knows you. He calls you by name as He called from the burning bush”Moses,Moses”.He has a great plan for you. Do u think you are in a place where you don’t like to be ??”out of place”He is going to show up soon and give you a new direction and guidance.!!

Elijah was sleeping all alone,dejected.He came till the wilderness, trying to hide away from Jezebel. He could not manage then.he slept,but God of Israel who never sleeps nor slumbers watched over him. The angel came and woke him up and gave him food to eat and strengthen him.Elijah never expected God to show up there,soon He was experiencing Fire, earthquake and wind ,but God was not there.A still small voice,he had to be silent so much,wait so much.But God showed up,the still small voice gave Him a ministry of anointing.!!

Look at the crooked hills of calvary,it was a “thankless, ruthless” mankind.Noone would dare to save the planet, but God wouldn’t leave it .He showed up himself to the world on that manger.He exposed His love as He died on that cross.Still He shows up to you in your grief, in your struggles,in your weakness,in your loneliness,in your tears! Expect Him to show Himself in the unexpected way in the unexpected place!!

“to the old rugged cross,I will ever be true

Its shame and reproach gladly bear

Then He’ll call me someday to my home far away

Where His glory forever I’ll share”

Psalm 57:2 I will cry out to God,Most High,to God who performs all things for me

Thought 1:This Psalm begins with the verse where the Psalmist wants hide under the Shadow of God’s wings, from all the calamities that was around Him. He picturizes Himself to be like a small chicken that runs to its Mother, to rest under her shadow from the cruel beasts seeking to devour. In verse 2,He goes on to do one more thing, He will cry OUT TO GOD! He is not ashamed of telling that. When all is hopeless, in midst of so many calamities, Psalmist says HE WILL CRY OUT TO GOD. The Psalmist also understands that His God is Most High. May I hear a hallelujah. He says God is MOST HIGH. let not this revelation depart from us.He is the MOST HIGH. Higher than your managers, your friends, your rulers,your enemies, your diseases, your woes, your struggles.He is seated on a HIGH AND EXALTED THRONE. Yes our God is Most High. Will you cry out to Him in midst of your calamity???

Thought 2:He also understands, that He is a God who is MOST HIGH yet so approachable, so near that God performs all things for us. Absolutely all things.In your work place, Its His presence that works FOR YOU. Its He who protects you.Its He who opens new ways for you. He performs all things for you.He maintains the universe and also your body such that all body organs perform well. He is all for you. Paul later gets this and says” IF GOD BE FOR US WHO CAN BE AGAINST US”. He also says”I can do all things thorugh Christ who strengthens me”.Child of God, God performs all things for you.Will you take off that element of “leaning on ur own understanding”? Will you allow Him to work..yes He is for you and He will perform all things for you.

Introspection

1)When is the last time that you felt the Lord as MOST HIGH??

2)What was your response to that??

Application

1)In your workplace,in midst of calamities,do what the Psalmist did,Cry out to HIM……

2)Allow Him to perform ALL THINGS FOR YOU!!Do not TEACH HIM what to do..Humbly walk in His way.

Phil 2.5:Let this mind be in you ,which was also in Christ Jesus

Thought 1:Our minds are created once,but the beauty is it can be renewed.Our minds are where heated discussions and arguments occur.Mind is the stage where thoughts wage a war.The whisperings of the devil,the communion of the Spirit all occurs here and what succeeds in our mind becomes our act.

Here Apostle Paul admonishes from the Prison to the church in Phillipi,Have the mind OF CHRIST in you.Trade it.Exchange it.Get that mind.

Thought 2:The good news is, what Mind Christ had can be yours.That mind that had compassion on the multitudes,that healed the sick,that fed the hungry,that humbleness that made Him to stoop down from the throne of heavens to the old rugged cross thinking of you and me.This can be yours.many a time we don’t take time to take THAT MIND that was in Christ Jesus.IF WE HAVE THAT MIND,WE WONT MIND DOING ANYTHING.This mind made Christ of being of no reputation.REPUTATION ,is the most soughted word now.Taking the form of BONDSERVANT.,born to serve.We have only leaders these days,no servants. Humbled Himself…we like others telling about our luxury..have we ever taken an “effort to be humble”.?Became obedient even unto the death unto the cross.

1)what is the mind we possess??Is it the mind to go to any extent..to humble ourselves,the extent to obey Him??

2)How do you respond to the SUCCESS Mantras of the world??Will you trade your comforts for the blessing of others??Some time of sleep to pray for others,some holiday to tell about the gospel of Christ??

1)Write down your likings in your heart,compare it with the “MIND OF CHRIST”Refuse any thing that comes against that

2)See Rom 12:1-2..sumbit your minds to be renewed as you offer your bodies as a living sacrifice

Psalm 84:11: For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

Thought 1: The Psalmist gets a great vision of who the Lord God is. At one point He notes the Lord God as the sun, from where we derive all benefits He specifically states the “rays” of grace and glory that comes from Him. Child of God, Our Lord is a sun to us. As earth cannot have existence without the sun, we too frail humans cant exist without God as our sun. He bestows grace and glory. In His light we glow, In His grace we live. But are we deriving the rays falling on us? As the plants exhibit photomorphism,do we “intentionally” protrude to get the rays from the Lord through prayer and feeding His word? Do we grow because of the rays from HIM???

Thought 2:The second revelation, Psalmist gets from the Lord is that He is a shield. A shield who blocks the evil rays from the devil. Child of God, do you recognize that you are in a battlefield and constantly being targeted by the devil,who wants to threaten your finance,job,family.Yet you are alive and safe.Its because of the Lord being our shield. Shout a big hallelujah to your shield.He is for us.He is our shield. He acts a s filter also. He filters wat comes to you. He blocks the evil designs and plans and acts of the enemy, but will not withhold any Good thing from you.He will not! hallelujahI!Iwhen you walk uprightly,no good thing will He withhold.

Introspection

1)Did you receive the rays of grace and glory from the Lord your God ,your sun??

2)Do you exhibit the growth as required when He is your sun and shield??

Application

1)Understand what it is to walk uprightly and mend our lifestyle

That night Mordecai must have gone to sleep with a burdened heart,I amgine he would have sung with David" I will both lie down in peace and sleep;for you alone,O Lord make me dwell in safety".The thoughts of His people and Him being killed by the enemy must have put him in lot of pain.Next morning,something unusual happened,Haman was knocking his doors,he must havepinched himself ot see whether he was dreaming or not.At the entrace stood the Royal Horse on which the emperor rode,he was asked by haman to put the ROYAL GARMENTS and also the Royal crown.He could not believe what was happening.He was escorted through the streets by Haman tellng"This would be done to the man whom the Kings wishes to honor".The reason was when Mordecai was resting at night,his keeper was not sleeping!!

The Israelites were in anguish,they murmured to Moses asking him why he brought them from Egypt while they were near the bowls of meat and had so much to feast on.They were perplexed by the sight of Pharoah and his army chasing them and the red sea was roaring in front of them.They could not do much during the night,but their keeper could.He drove an east wind over the red sea all through the night.At the morning watch,they could see a new way paved for them.

King Hezekiah also will not forget to narrate His experience.He faced a strong enemy who threatened him for days.The enmy breathed out heaps of insults and demoralized the people of God.They were silent because that was the order from hezekiah.The king rent His garments and went to the presence of God with the cruel inhumane threatenings from the enemy.With a heavy heart they went to rest at night.Morning they saw 1,85,000 dead bodies lying around them.One angel of God went through the enemy's camp.

CHild of God,are you facing a difficult situation in your life,be careful not to sin against God by your words.Allow Him to work.Though the weeping may last for a night JOY comes in the morning.Your morning is coming!!Hold on!!

Ashes-Say Thy Word and Save our World!!

The wedding house at Cana was so attractive from outside,guests were pouring in,and as they were coming in the wine was going out and noone seemed to care abt the situation in the house.They had invited Jesus and His disciples for the wedding and His mother also was there.Fear set in there was a panic all around,people were asking for wine but the wine was over.Mary came and told Jesus because she knew who Jesus was and also knew that if Jesus was told something,He will do something about it.Sher went and asked the people in the store," WHATEVER HE SAYS TO YOU DO IT".

A centurion met Christ on the way and asked Him to heal His Servant.Christ said" I will come and Heal Him".The centurion full of faith said a "LOrd,AM unworthy to have you under my house,Say a Word and my servant shall be healed".Prayer of faith acknowledges Him as Lord,it also expresses our unworthiness in His presence ,but RELIES ON THE POWER OF HIS WORD.The centurion like Mary understood that His word can do great things,it can travel upto any distance,it accomplishes the purpose for which it is sent.Let me add one more thing,even the angels are so keen on hearing and obeying His word.When God sents a word unto us,I also imagine a host of unseen angels being sent to fulfil His word regarding us.Hallelujah!!

Jesus and His disciples faced a tempest at the Sea and when the disciples saw the master sleeping,they got afraid.They woke Him up and cried"lord we are perishing".Jesus woke from the sleep and asked them "where is your faith"??He spoke"peace,be still"And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.The disciples then said to one another"Who can this be,that even the wind and sea obey Him!!".His word changed their world!!!!

Child of God,Lets pray O GOD SAYTHY WORD AND Save OUR WORLD!!!

Thought 1:What a verse is this!!A verse that expresses an eternal relationship.He will be our GOD forever and ever.We need God who can control things beyond our control.From our inner lives to the outer galaxy we need GOD.A God who can cleanse us from sin,heal our diseases,give us peace,joy and happiness.We need a God who has control over the earth we live,the sun rise,sunset,rains at due time,protector from calamities.Imagine what is God to you.Child of God ,He never shirks from His responsibility.HE IS OUR GOD,FOREVER and EVER.He never changes.He is God.hallelujah.

Thought 2:This God not only is God,but our guide.He is so interested in each step we take.He guides us.He speaks to us.His word guides us.We read in Psalm 32:8.He will guide us with His eye on us.Dear Reader,If He is your God,He will guide you.Have you made Him God of your life.Have you entered into an eternal relationship with Him??This eternal relationship will prove to be very vital in our day to day life.Invite Him into your heart.Give Him room.Dont worry about what situation you are in right now.HE IS YOUR GOD-the one responsible for your birth,responsible to guide you,responsible to lead you to eternity.
